"Jo" Part I

As Jo sat in the chair in her favorite beauty salon she wondered just what the hell she was doing. She wasn't fretting over making a change in her "do”. (She was cutting off nearly 7 inches of locks!) She rifled through the pages of Vogue hardly paying any attention at all to the images because her thoughts were completely preoccupied with what Neil and she had done three nights ago before he left on his trip. Since they had met the sex and sparks had been marvelous---no, make that spectacular. She had never known such completeness and yet here they were talking of "opening" up their marriage. She shivered at the thought and goose bumps were up and down her arms at just the thought. Perhaps in the context of how it all came up would make more sense than just to acknowledge they were opening up their marriage to potential danger. "You okay, hon?"

"Huh?...oh, yes....just fine...."
