I met her through a fish tank. This little bar had one of them aquariums and she was starin' in one side of it while I was peerin' in the other. When we straightened up we were smilin' at one another. I told her everyone called me Cowboy. She had one of those pure Texas, down home voices and the double name to match. I was a country boy so we hit it off right away.

We both knew what we were out lookin' for. Of course we also knew we had to talk and have a few drinks first. Somehow, the right moment to just say "Let's go" never quite came along though. Even when it's true, I hate to have a woman think all I want to do is go fuck. Finally, all I did was ask for her number and address. She gave me a little card. Turned out she was a schoolteacher. Long story short, I ended up leavin' her there.
