The rain was coming down in torrents. The local weather forecast had called for showers, but I think that this even caught the weather people by surprise. Luckily for me, I had made reservations at this motel I was now in. Just by chance, I find myself on a long journey, and this was a planned stop. Lucky, because there are now NO VACANCIES here.

Unfortunately for the lucky souls that continue to pull up to the front desk, this place is at capacity. But the bar/restaurant is still open, and will be until 10 p.m. What the "patrons" are going to do after that is still a mystery.

I manage to get a booth for a light dinner in this crowded place. I haven't seen a place this crowded since the last time I was at Times ...
