Prostate Examination The new office had a television so the wait Mike had to endure wasn't nearly as bad as before. Dr. Catherine Horton's new location, and her staff, was friendly and warm. And the lady across from Mike was showing enough leg that helped Mike be a patient, patient. "Mike", the attractive young med-tech looked questioningly at Mike in the waiting room with four other people of about the same age, then when Mike smiled and began to get up she turned and spoke over her shoulder, "come this way." The two stopped in the hallway and the med-tech had Mike get on the scales and then led him to the examination room furthest down the hallway. Mike was curious why, because there were several empty rooms with doors open that they passed along the way. After taking Mike's blood pressure the young lab tech simply smiled and said that Dr. Horton would be in shortly, and then she closed the door as she went out. This would only be Mike's third physical with Dr. Catherine Horton because he'd needed to find new doctors, dentists, and other needed professionals after he and his wife had retired and moved here three years before. After a few minutes Mike realized that he might be waiting longer than usual, with the new office also probably came more patients and less free time. Mike looked up at the many medical diplomas and also the military discharge certificate beside them and smiled, remembering the friendly conversations that he'd had with Catherine Horton about their shared Air Force times. Catherine and her husband had both been flight surgeons before their retirements. Her husband decided to practice golf after his retirement and Catherine wanted to continue in medical practice. It had been about ten minutes and Mike had been sitting idle so he decided to look through the stack of magazines on the table beside the chair he was in.
