Roger Davis woke up with a smile on his face, as he had on the previous eleven mornings. It's amazing how sunny things can be when you hand the State Lottery Commissioner a stub of paper and he hands you back the first of 20 annual checks for $850,000 apiece. Roger had put a lot of thought into how to maintain his low-key, anonymous lifestyle. He hadn't told anyone of his good fortune, and only yesterday had turned in his two weeks' notice at his job, doing computer network support for a big corporation. He would close soon on a decent, medium-sized house and be able to spend his time pursuing his interests instead of a paycheck. Much of the last eleven days had been spent deep in thought about those interests and the best ways to pursue them. One common theme had stuck out in his mind: sex.
