Hi everyone! This is a mostly true (about 95% true) story. I did have an intense crush on a girl named Jill in high school. Ages have been changed to be nice and legal.

When I was eighteen I developed my first crush on a girl. I had always been attracted to them, deep down, but this was the first crush. I had looked covertly at my fellow drill team members when we changed and ran around half naked at sleepovers. I had imagined how sexy it would be to have lots of sex in our short, pleated skirts. I always imagined games of truth or dare where we dared each other to make out with another girl. I have even fantasized slightly about slipping into bed with our coach, even though she was like my best friend.

But my crush was not like them, nothing like them. You ever hear of David and Goliath? My crush on her seemed like that. Here I was, a band geek, and she was one of the most popular girls in school. And whip smart too. Even though I was taking AP classes with her in our senior year, I always felt she was above and beyond my intelligence. She played volleyball, and she also was on the student body. There were very few girls more popular than Jill. But those girls did not get to sit directly behind Jill in our most boring class, AP Economics.

Jill and I had the same birthday, but she did not know that. I did, but she didn't. Not that I was a stalker or anything, but the popular people in school celebrated Jill's birthday, while they could care less ...
