Letter from Vivian to Anna

I just HAD to write and tell you about what happened to me yesterday. I was at the library trying to do some research. While I was there , I saw the most amazing guy sitting across the room. I don't know why he was so appealing to me, he wasn't the best looking man I've seen, he was tall and dark with a rugged face....

Anyhow, as i was standing there gawking, he looked up, and our eyes met. He had the most amazing clear grey eyes. Well...I couldn't look away, we were both just kind of caught in that look for a while, and then I realized that I was standing in the middle of the library staring. I was so embarrassed that I sat back down and tried to look busy.

I couldn't help it though, my eyes just kept drifting over to where he was sitting, and our eyes met on a few occasions...it was such a weird feeling, like I should know him. After a while, he just got up and left....he winked at me on the way by , but I was so mad at myself! Why didn't I go and talk to him while I had the chance, I thought. I mean ,how often do you get that kind of reaction from someone?

I tried to get back to work, but it was useless..I just couldn't concentrate. So I packed up my books and left. As I was walking down the hallway to the lobby, a hand shot out of a doorway. Scared the life out of me...I opened my mouth to scream, but just before the sound came ...
