******* Jack had been thinking about this for some time. He knew his wife was being unfaithful to him but he was not surprised.

Jack Taylor was 56 years old and wealthy. He had been involved in a number of successful businesses including real estate development and banking. He had started a number of small banks in rural communities throughout Texas and had done quite well financially as a result of these ventures. During the dot.com boom, he and an associate, Rick Westwood started a company that made a device which enhanced the performance of computer servers. Rick, age 29 at the time, was a computer genius and really the brains behind the company. Jack first met Rick when he needed a computer system to link all of his banks and Rick put together a great system. Whenever Jack needed something pertaining to computers or electronics, he called Rick. Both men liked each other and they become good friends despite the age difference. One day, Rick approached Jack regarding an idea he had for some hardware and software that would improve the efficiency of a typical business computer server. The idea was revolutionary and even Jack could see the potential of Rick's idea.
