Mark Livingston, is a single, well-educated, attractive, 36 year old guy. He received his undergraduate and Masters Degree from the University of Texas and earned his PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is smart, but not nerdy and well off financially due to a very successful consulting business. He is a structural engineer specializing in the concrete field. His reputation in this specialized field had grown over the years and his services were always in demand. He maintained a small office in Austin, Texas. His valued assistant, Teri Dixon is the only staff he has. Teri had been with him for five years. Mark's expertise was always in demand and as a result, he stayed very busy. His job assignments took him all over the world.

Professionally, he has everything going his way. Personally, there is one thing lacking in his life....a solid relationship with a woman. He just did not have time to maintain a meaningful relationship and to some degree, this bothered Mark because he loved women and their companionship.
