Went out for drinks with my co-workers and run into a few soldiers on leave....

A few weeks ago a couple of my coworkers had asked me if I wanted to join them for a ladies night out. I told them that I would love to, since I really had nothing much going on at home. We made our arrangements and I told them that I would meet them at the local pub. I headed home after work to take a shower and get ready to go out. When I got home my husband was laying on the couch having a few beers and watching a game. I told him I was going out with the girls and he just shrugged his shoulders and told me to have fun. I headed upstairs to take a shower and get dressed. Once I showered, I decided to go with a pair of jeans and a tank top. Maybe I would get lucky and some guy would hit on me and buy me a few drinks. I grabbed my stuff and on my way out the door, I mentioned to my husband not to wait up for me. He just waved me off and went back to his game. I had a cab waiting to take me to the pub, and was soon on my way. I arrived at the pub and when I entered I immediately saw my coworkers over by the bar and made my way to them. We all greeted each other and I ordered myself a drink. We spent the next several minutes enjoying our drinks and gossiping about some of our coworkers. Eventually, someone suggested we hit the dance floor to enjoy the music. We all finished our drinks and made our way onto the dance floor. We spent the next hour dancing and drinking and just enjoying ourselves. We were having a great time and everyone was just letting loose when a waiter came over with a round of drinks for us. We all looked at each other because no one had ordered them and the waiter told us that they were compliments of the guys at the bar. We looked over and saw a group of guys standing at the bar waving to us. We all looked at each other and decided to go over and thank them. We made our way to the bar and as we approached it we noticed that these guys were all in pretty good shape and good looking. We began to chat with them and thanked them for the drinks. They asked us where we were from and we all told them that we were from the area and were here on a ladies night out. We asked them where they were from and it turned out that they were soldiers that had just returned home from Afghanistan and were on leave for a couple of weeks. We quickly thanked them for what they have done for our country and they asked us if we wouldn't mind hanging with them at the bar.
