Billie got the bad news over the phone. His sister in law was leaving his brother and filing for divorce. Amanda told Billie that his brother Frank had cheated on her again and she couldn't take it anymore. She said she was tired of the lies and the excuses. She added that she had married the wrong brother because he was nothing like Frank. That made Billie feel good because he always liked her. Now don't get him wrong, he loved his wife Kathy but sometimes she could be hard to live with. Frank and Billie never got along even though they were brothers. Kathy knew that Amanda and Frank had one thing that she didn't; they had a 2 year old child. Kathy and Billie had been trying for a baby for over a year with no luck.

Later Frank was over at their house giving them, mainly Kathy, his side of the story. He admitted that he had made a mistake and he told Amanda he was sorry, but she wouldn't buy it. He said Amanda wanted a divorce before this and was using his one mistake to take him for everything he had. He thought that Amanda had a lover. He said that her lawyer told him she would get the house and sole custody of their daughter. He loved his daughter and couldn't understand why she would do this to him.
