A couple of weeks ago as I was going over some paperwork in my office, I was approached by my supervisor. By the look on his face, I could tell that he wasn't very happy. He came into my office and told me that he needed to see me in his office when I was done for the day. I asked him if anything was wrong and he told me to just stop by his office before I left. I became a bit nervous, and wondered what had happened. I finished up with my work and headed down to his office to see him. When I walked in, he was sitting at his desk and had the office manager in there with him. I immediately knew I was in some kind of trouble if both of these guys were in the office waiting for me. They told me to take a seat and I did.

After I sat, my supervisor began pulling out some paperwork and explained to me that the other day, I had sent out some important documents before they were supposed to be sent. He handed me a copy of the documents and I looked them over. I immediately realized what they were and told the both of them that I thought they were supposed to be sent out when I got them. I didn't realize that they weren't ready. It was an honest mistake and not something that I had done on purpose. The office manager chimed in, telling me that these documents were very crucial to an account that we were working on and by me sending them out before they were ready, it could cost the company a lot of money.
