It was mid-morning when BOI Agent Mitchell "Mitch" Monroe entered the law offices of mafia boss Angelo Romano's attorney Oliver Thompson. It was a luxurious set up with expensive Persian rugs on parquet floors and walnut paneled walls. An efficient looking young man sat behind a reception desk, a fancy intercom system with sixteen buttons for each attorney and their assistants taking center stage on the desk in front of him. He looked up at Mitch with a smile and said, "Hello, sir, may I help you?"

Mitch flashed his badge and said, "I am here to see Albert Carlisle."

The assistant looked down at his appointment book and asked, "Do you have an appointment?"

"No but I am certain Mr. Carlisle will see me."

"Just one moment, please. You can have a seat while you wait." He gestured towards some leather arm chairs lined up along two walls with tables between them.
