MY BODYGUARD

I looked out the living room window at my oceanside home as my bodyguard, Ms. Terry O’Keefe was poring over a map of the Northern California region where I lived, plotting new routes for us to take, next time we ventured out. It felt weird, being closely guarded in my own home, but it was an expense I had to shoulder.

I am a prosperous California businessman, running my own import-export firm out of South San Francisco.
