The lottery tickets will be based on the amount of stories you have in the FanClub, the length of those stories and the other statistics (number of reads, votes, average vote). The intention is to give more tickets to authors with more, longer and/or better scoring stories in the FanClub. Obviously, the more tickets you have, the bigger your chance of spending 100 bucks with Amazon! Because your first story/ticket in the FanClub is basically seen as your contribution that will give you free access to the FanClub, you usually only start gaining lottery tickets if you have more than one story in the FanClub. However, if you have one story that is rather long or scored quite well, more than one ticket may be awarded for one story. In that case you will be able to take part in the lottery even if you only have one story in the FanClub! New tickets are awarded every month when the lottery opens. This is done based on the stats of that moment, so in order to receieve tickets you must have stories in the fanclub when the lottery opens for that month. The tickets are awarded every month again and again. If you have stories in the fanclub you will get tickets every month, and therefor you can play every month. For multipart stories, the average vote of the entire story (all parts together), and the views/reads of the first part only will be used. That way, every story receives a number of tickets.
