Erlikkhan interview

One of ES's longest serving authors, Erlikkhan has been publishing here for almost exactly a decade - his first story, the first chapter of the six part "In Deep Trouble," appeared in August 2001. Since that time, he has written thirty stories, many of them with multiple parts. "For example," he tells us, "'Something About Mary' has twenty-one chapters and eight parts. I actually pieced this mini-novella together from a series of short stories I wrote as part of a blog. Every time I reread it my willy stands tall... lots of hot sex of all kinds in every chapter.

Q. How did you begin writing erotic stories and what was the first story you wrote?

I had written a few non-erotic short stories for a writing club some twenty years ago. Several of these contained mild sex. I found myself getting aroused when I wrote them. I took some of these sex scenes and expanded on them in private. Many of these later became the basis for my erotic stories. One of my short stories was about a guy who received a 'Dear John' letter from his high school girlfriend. This led to my erotic story "The Letter." Originally it only consisted of the first part. I added the other parts later.

Q. What is your most recent story?

My most recent story is "Like a Virgin." It is very loosely based on a brief fling I had several years back with a former high school friend. I wanted it to be a romantic story but I know that readers want hot sex and the two don't always work well together. I rewrote it many times to spice it up but still was not happy when I published it. It has done well in terms of ratings so it must have hit the mark better than I thought.

Q. Now, is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?

Besides a dynamic personality, huge intellect and 12 inch cock I am a fairly normal person. Okay, maybe I exaggerate. I am 5'10" and weigh 185 pounds. My eyes are blue and I have a full head of slightly graying hair. I've reached the mid-century milestone but I feel as young and vibrant as ever. I keep myself in excellent physical shape, love the outdoors and spend a lot of time biking, hiking, fly fishing and boating on the lake where I live. I've been married to the same woman for over twenty years. We have two great kids who are now old enough to publish their own stories. My son is lead guitarist for an 'Almost Famous' band and has so many groupies crawling over him that he complains about it. Actually, that sounds like a good idea for a story!

Q. Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?

I publish on Literotica. I often try out a story on one site and then spend time editing based on user comments before publishing on the other. They are both excellent sites.

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

It is a great outlet for pent up sexual energy. I usually find myself getting so caught up in the fantasy I am writing that it becomes an addiction until it is completed. I really do associate with my characters, even my female characters. I do my best erotic writing when I am highly aroused, and writing erotica gets me highly aroused. My wife is often the unsuspecting beneficiary of my writing sessions.

Q: What is your favorite category to write in, and why?

First time is always exciting. I love to write about innocent virgins who get a taste of cock and become raving nymphomaniacs. "Young Jenny," "Summer of Sin," "Deep Magic," and "Cyberslut" are good examples of this genre. Innocent girls who get fucked and don't even realize they are no longer innocent are also fun to write. "The Magician's Assistant" and "Angels and Demons" fall into this category. Group sex is enjoyable to write because it is so out of control. Many of my stories contain at least one if not several group sex scenes. I often combine group with innocent virgin stories like in "Young Jenny." Finally I like stories of adultery and cheating and often combine that with group. In "Five Card Studs" the protagonist bets his wife in a poker game and she takes on five guys.

Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?

I write myself into most stories. If I can't be a part of the action then erotic writing loses its appeal. This becomes tricky when the protagonist is female. I do love putting myself inside the head of women/girls and live out my fantasy through them. Of course that also means many of my female characters are not very realistic unless raving nymphomaniacs that have non-stop multiple orgasms, like it up the ass and love to have cum splattered all over their faces and tits are considered normal. Several of my stories are based on actual events. For example "Beach Music," "Our Best Friend's Girl," "Intercourse Inn" and "Sibling Rivalry" are embellishments of my own experiences from when I was young. Many of my stories have bits and pieces of real people and actual events.

Q. Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

I've never been in a real orgy or a gang-bang. I have shared a girl with a friend and have had sex with two girls at the same time. I was once the fifth or sixth partner of a girl at a frat party but she was doing us one at a time in a dorm room. An all out orgy with multiple partners switching back and forth, or a gang-bang where one girl takes on the entire football team have both escaped me. Actually, I'm not sure I'm anxious to try either, but they are fun to write about.

Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

My wife is in the dark and I plan to keep it that way. She was raised by a Victorian mother. Pornography is evil. I once brought home a porn video and got thrown out of the bedroom. That being said she is highly passionate and perhaps the most orgasmic woman I have ever known. While I do love my wife I am far from perfect when it comes to being monogamous. Maybe it's just part of the male genetic make-up. I don't go looking, I have never paid for sex and I seldom stray, but when opportunity knocks it is hard to pass it up. "Unfaithful" and "Seeking Employment" are loosely based on two of these indiscretions.

Q. What, if any, difficulties do you face when writing - erotic writing difficulties and general writing difficulties? And how do you overcome them?

I can never figure out what is going to turn on my readers so I have stopped trying. I often spend hours rewriting stories but I'm not sure it makes any difference. Some of my earlier efforts, which are full of mistakes, still receive high marks. My criteria are simple - if I get a hard-on when I read it after it has been sitting a while then I publish it.

Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Do you have any favorite topics that have surfaced in these "conversations"?

Yes. A few of my stories are a direct result of fan interaction. "Forbidden Pleasures" and "Girls Behaving Badly" are based on several e-mail exchanges with two female fans that were turned on by my stories. We developed the fantasy together in stages and they are both written into it. "Double the Pleasure" was written for one of my fans that I actually met in person. Her fantasy was a threesome with another girl. "The Bun Collector" was written after several exchanges with a fan that truly does have a great set of buns based on the pictures I saw.

Q. What kind of stories would you never write?

There really isn't much I wouldn't try except for men on men. I just can't get into it. I did write a lesbian story on a dare from a fan that I haven't yet posted to ES.

Q. And do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site? Who are your favorites?

I do enjoy reading other authors from time to time. It both helps my writing and often gets me aroused, which of course is why people read stories on ES in the first place. I seldom vote, but occasionally I will if the work is exceptional. I would love to find a female author or any female who has a sexy voice to work with me on an audible story that I am writing. I used to do cyber on regular basis with an author that has since disappeared. That experience is what gave me the idea for "Cybersex."

Q. Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw?

I grew up in a world before internet and, believe it or not, videos. We had magazines in high school and of course x-rated movie houses but you had to be 18. I saw "Deep Throat" in 1975 with a fake ID and almost creamed my pants in the movie theater. After that I was hooked, but the opportunities were far and few between until the internet. I do remember an X-rated drive-in near the college I attended. I dated a girl for a while that enjoyed watching porn as much as I did. She gave the best blowjobs.

Q. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done?

I don't know about kinky but I've had some interesting experiences. One time in college I fucked a girl in the ocean with hundreds of people sunbathing on the beach. I also fingered a girl in a full movie theater, got a blowjob in the back seat of a car while on a double date and had my mother walk in on me fucking a girl in my bedroom. The most bizarre may be the time I was doing two sisters as described in "Sibling Rivalry." The older one had no idea I was also fucking her much younger sister. That led to a nasty confrontation.

Q. Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

I have a recurring fantasy of receiving the most incredible blowjob from a young (but legal) cheerleader wearing her uniform and then eating her shaved pussy until she gushes in my mouth. Two women at the same time is every guy's fantasy. It only happened once when I overheard two English girls talking at a tavern. They were both quite drunk and were comparing notes about the different guys they had "fooked" and the size of their cocks. I asked them if I could buy them a drink. We ended up in my hotel room and "fooked" our brains out.

Q. What is a major turn on for you during sex?

I am always turned-on when the woman I am with has an orgasm. I love the reverse cowboy position because I can watch a woman's naked ass cheeks bouncing up and down each time my cock spears into her pussy. I love fucking a girl who is still wearing her panties. Driving my cock straight down into a woman under me and watching her face contort in orgasm is a major turn-on. I also love it when a woman talks dirty while she is getting fucked. More than anything I love eating pussy. Blowjobs are overrated unless the girl is completely uninhibited and loves what she is doing. Same for anal. She has to love it for it to be exciting.

Q. How about a major turn off?

I was with a woman once who licked my asshole. I didn't like it. I'm also not big on sharing cum with my partner.

Q: How do you feel about same sex relationships, both personally and as a writer?

While I love lesbians, I cannot get past my fear of sex with other men either personally or in my writing. Maybe it goes back to my youth when my baseball coach asked if he could suck my cock while giving me a massage. I was terrified. He backed away and said he was joking. I never told anyone and he never tried anything again but I think the experience still lingers.

Q. How long does it take for you to write a story? Could you talk us through the process?

Most of my stories are developed over weeks or even months. It's the editing that takes time. They start with an idea. In "Five Card Studs" I wrote the first line 'I found her cum stained panties in the laundry' without any idea of where the rest of the story would go. The idea for "Perfect in Every Way" came to me when I saw an absolutely stunning woman walk through the lobby of a hotel in Madrid. "Summer of Sin" popped into my head at our club pool where I used to gawk at the teenage girls who innocently but shamelessly showed off their nubile young bodies. Once I have the idea I let the story go where it takes me. Getting quickly to hot sex is important to keep the reader's attention. Varying the sex and the sexual situations is also important. For example, in "Something About Mary" she gets fucked in a closet at school; double teamed in an outdoor shower at the beach; fucked by two friends in her wedding dress before the ceremony; gang-banged at a beach house and a truck stop; fucked by her husband's boss while she is pregnant; and fucked by her neighbor while he sucks milk from her tits.

Q. What do you think is the best story you have published here?

To me "Comedy of Errors" is the best piece I have written. A dildo intended for a fiancé is accidentally mailed to the future mother-in-law instead. Adding a twin sister seemed like a perfect progression. "The Cheerleader's Diary," in my opinion, has the best overall sex because it covers just about every category. I also consider "The Magicians Assistant" and "Bewitched" among my best. I almost didn't publish "Cyberslut" because I was concerned that the fans would not like the way I portrayed the cybersex scenes, and yet it is my highest rated story.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

Thank you for reading my stories. I do appreciate your feedback. Even if I do not always respond I do listen. Nothing pleases me more than knowing my stories get you aroused ('a triple panty soaker' one reader wrote) and allow you to be temporarily transported into a world of sexual fantasy. I will continue to publish when I can find the time and hope you continue to read and enjoy. It has been a great journey together.
