The uniquely named Ticarod has been publishing at ES for just a few short weeks - his first story, "Life On The Island" appeared here as recently as December 2011. Since that time, however, he has published no few than twenty-four fresh tales, with the most recent, "Back to Attleboro," appearing the same day as we conducted this interview.

Q. So the first question has to be - how are able to be so prolific?

A. All of the stories I relate are true stories. I am almost 61 years old and have been sexually active for a long, long time. I enjoy the avenue that erotic stories has opened for me.

Q. How and when did you begin writing erotic stories?

A. I began writing erotic stories when I stumbled across your site. Some of the published stories were close to some of my real life experiences. Being a conversationalist to start with, I felt I had to relate some of my experiences.

Q. Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?

A. No

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

A. Remembering the experience as I type it. Sometimes I have to stop and masturbate just reliving the experience thru the telling of it.

Q. What is your favorite category to write in, and why?

A. That changes daily. If a memory of a straight experience comes to my mind that's my favorite for the day. If its a bi experience, then that's my favorite.

Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?

A. All of myself is involved, I don't have the ability or creativity to make this stuff up.

Q. Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

A. No. Some of my experiences, I would not want my friends or family to know about, thats why I use a screen name. I do anything that I feel comfortable doing.

Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

A. Laura and Eva know that I write about them. I copy the stories and send them to them via email. I don't want them to come here, and see some of my bi experiences.

Q. What, if any, difficulties do you face when writing - erotic writing difficulties and general writing difficulties? And how do you overcome them?

A. Spelling, lol and trying not to be repetitive, trying to keep it new and sensual.

Q. How about in more general terms - how do you feel about the "outside world"'s perception of erotic writing?

A. I don't care how the outside world feels about erotic literature, or pornography. As long as no one is getting hurt, who cares. If it excites you, makes you want to make love, thats good. How can sex be bad?

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

A. It doesn't bother me. Maybe it's just not their cup of tea.

Q. And do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site? Who are your favorites?

A. I read some of the stories, I cannot honestly say that I have any favorites, other than me. lol

Q. Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw?

A. Yes when I was a boy, 12 or 13, I went into a little corner store that sold mainly cigarettes, chewing tobacco, candy gum, newspapers and little books with pictures of naked women. I used to hide and leaf thru them, then run home and jerk off to the memory. Back in those days, they didn't show the pussy shot, just titties. One day, I was flipping thru the book and saw my cousin, Linda, a Penn State student in there, posing! She was hot, so the next time I saw her ,I asked her about it. She denied it, said it was someone who looked like her and what was I doing looking at those kind of books anyhow. She said she would tell my parents, if I ever brought it up again. About ten years later she admitted it was her, and that she only did it for the money. She got $100 for the pics.

Q. Brilliant! I love stories like that. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done?

A. Kinky is in the eye of the beholder. I honestly don't think I have ever done anything truly kinky. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done? Good point... although liking to suck cock through a gas mask (without the air filter) has raised a few eyebrows. Okay, do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

A. Not at the time being. I have done a lot of sexual things, and cannot think of anything I am desirous of.

Q. What is a major turn on for you during sex?

A. Dirty talk from the woman. I don't like women who talk dirty in every day life, but when they are aroused, about to cum, I want them to talk to me. I want them to tell me to eat their pussy, or fuck them, I really like it when they look at me when giving head and say "who is your sweet little cocksucker"? That is hot.

Q. How about a major turn off?

A. Women that cannot laugh while having sex. Sex is fun, and if you cannot laugh while doing it, or if you get pissed off because I am laughing, I am done.

Q. How do you feel about same sex relationships, both personally and as a writer?

A. I don't care what you do, as long as nobody gets hurt. Don't push your sexuality on me. Hetero or Homo. Sex is sex, its pleasurable. If you're a guy who likes to suck a dick, I don't care. I have been known to suck a dick. That doesn't mean I am gay, it means I enjoy sex.

Q. Do you explore these feelings, positive and negative in your stories?

A. No

Q. How long does it take for you to write a story? Could you talk us through the process?

A. I may read a story that jumpstarts a memory. I sit down and start from the beginning. I may get too detail oriented, trying to set up the story line, but I think that's important. I don't think anyone wants to read "I jumped in bed and stuck my cock in her mouth." You need some background. That's why I only write about true experiences, I can work from memory instead of trying to make stuff up. It probably takes me an hour to write a memory, half of that is re-reading it, checking for errors, and making sure its readable (to me, I am sure some people would debate that lol).

Q. What do you think is the best story you have published here?

A. I think the best, and hottest, is "Mens room encounter"

Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

A. Thanks for reading my stuff, and all the nice words. I really like the comments that you send to me. Especially Marcia, lol.

Q. Finally, do you have a website or a blog, where your fans can visit and maybe learn more about you?

A. No, I don't. But thanks for the interview, and I love that profile pic of you. That is hot! Uhmmmm, I am going back to look at that again, and just maybe....

Please read Ticarod's stories!
