Hello guest! (Level: guest) Log in

Well it’s about time!  After three guys in a row, it is time to dig into a woman’s mind and ask her all of our questions.  I asked Mag58 to join our list of interviewees and lucky for us, she agreed!  She currently has 33 stories posted on the site, is on our Top Favorite Author list, and is in top 5 female authors on the site with the most stories posted. **

Tell us about you:

Question: First tell us something about yourself, like name, age, and some other things we would like to know about you...Let’s call it a short bio.

Mag58:  I’m 48, married and have two grown up sons. I’m from the North East of England which means I’m a ‘Geordie Lass’. Readers in the UK can make their own minds up if that’s a good thing or not; as we have a reputation for ‘drinking and partying’!

In the ‘real world’ I’m a Training Manager in the fashion industry; which means I get to travel  a lot and stay in hotels; which is where and when I write my stories. It definitely beats watching Soap Operas on the TV.

I love traveling, walking, driving, reading, football, music, writing (of course!) and the cinema.

Question: What are you wearing right now?

Mag58:  I’d love to say ‘stockings, suspenders a matching thong and ¼ cup bra; but as I’m all alone in a Bolton hotel it’s actually a pair of pyjama shorts and an old Adidas t-shirt!

Question: Does your spouse or significant other know you write, and if so, what does he/she think?

Mag58:  He knows absolutely nothing of my secret life! We have a great marriage (well…it suits us!) and we each have our own ‘hobbies’ – he likes football, fishing and cars; I like football, hill-walking and sex. He would be horrified if he ever found out.

Please don’t ‘judge me’ but I had a lot of affairs in the early years of our marriage (see: My First Infidelity, Friday Night and My Little Pink Friend) that I obviously had to keep secret – my writing is the same now.

Question: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life?

Mag58:  Oddly enough NO! I’ve always felt a little bit like an actress (or a split personality?)  - At home I am the perfect wife (chef in the kitchen…whore in the bedroom) and wonderful mother (and now mother in law); at work I am both team leader and a shoulder to cry on; but on the Internet I’m a Porn Star and International Sex Bomb!

I probably appear ‘boring’ to a lot of the people I come into contact with…if only they knew my secret!

Question: How did you come up with your ES nickname?

Mag58:  In the North East of England we take football (soccer) very seriously; it’s a bit like a Religion. Every family supports a team – ours is Newcastle United who play in black and white stripes and are known as the Magpies (aka Mags), I was born in 1958 so…Mag58 or sometimes Magpie Amy – as simple as that.

Question:  What brought you to EroticStories.com?  What made you want to stay and become a part of it?

Mag58:  I’d already posted stories on 7 or 8 different sites. Some went bust others took ages to upload stories others were just rubbish, then a ‘fan’ recommended that I try EroticStories.com. I like how the site is set out; it’s easy to upload and edit, but most of all I like the feedback sections – even if there are some people out there who shouldn’t be allowed access to computers!

Question:  What is your favorite part of your body?  Why?

Mag58:  I’ve always been proud of my legs and arse but most men who meet me don’t seem to be able to take their eyes of my chest (34d or 34dd depending on bra manufacturer)

Question:  If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?

Mag58:  Easy – a thick head of luscious black hair.

Question:  Boxers v Briefs? / Panties v Thong?

Mag58:  I like to see a man in a nice clean pair of tight white Lycra and cotton boxers and I only ever wear thongs or G-Strings (honest) as I love the feel and look that they give me. My husband bought my first thong as a bit of a joke; within 3 months I had thrown all of my other knickers in the bin. (I should have used e-bay ha, ha, ha.)

Writing Habits:

Question: What do you like the most about writing erotic stories?

Mag58:  I’ve always had a vivid imagination (dirty mind lol) and been a show-off, so with hindsight, writing erotic stories is actually quite a natural outlet for me.

Knowing the effect that my stories have on thousands (tens of thousands?) of people world-wide is very satisfying for a middle-aged woman.

Question: How long have you been writing now?  How did it all get started and what made you write your first story?

Mag58:  3 jobs and 5 years ago, I was learning some basic computer skills and was asked to ‘clean out’ the hard drive of a colleagues computer who had quickly left the company.

I stumbled on some files that he hadn’t deleted. Among the usual ‘titty’ pictures (and some that made me blush) were some downloaded stories. Being nosey I opened a couple and read them. After 20 minutes and a bit of squirming under my desk I copied them to a floppy disc to read in the comfort of a hotel bedroom later in the week.

I then started logging on to the sites; downloading any interesting titles to read when I was lonely.

Obviously some writers were better than others so I soon thought ‘I can do better than that’ and I did!

I can still distinctly remember the two nights it took to write my first ever erotic story – ‘My First Infidelity’ which was an autobiographical account of my first affair.

Question: What categories are most of your stories in?  What kind would you never write?

Mag58:  I’m scattered all over the site! I soon ran out of my own exploits to write about so wrote about my friends ‘adventures’ then when they became repetitive I unlocked the dark recesses of my brain. I’ve got a very open-mind so just about everything between consenting adults is fine by me.

I have no trouble writing about teenage boys having sex, as in my most recent story (Young Lee Clark and the MILF) but I would not write about a (very young) teenage girl and an older man. Possibly that could be hypocritical but hey ho that’s me.

I’ve tried lesbian themes and they haven’t been convincing so I’ve missed out in that area.

Question: Which of your stories is your personal favorite, the one you enjoyed writing the most, and/or the one holds the best memories or feelings for you?

Mag58:  Wow! That’s like asking which son I like best.

My favourite would have to be either ‘Amateur Glamour Model’ or ‘Biker Gang-Bang’ which were both very well received and I still get feedback about them. Both of these just came to me when I was driving on the motorway and the stories just ‘flowed’ onto the page.

I possibly enjoyed writing ‘Andrea’s Night of Ecstasy’ more than the others because it was ‘written to order’ for a fan and therefore a challenge. It was a fantasy about his wife and he supplied me with lots of information about her which I included in the text. He was so thrilled I eventually wrote another 3 stories about Andrea and we still correspond regularly.

The best memories have to be about ‘My First Infidelity’. I hadn’t written a story since I’d left school at 18 so pouring out my thoughts onto a computer screen was thrilling beyond belief.  Only another writer would understand the apprehension you have waiting to see your story published then to see it actually on the screen is such an adrenalin rush.

At that stage I hadn’t given any thought to ‘feedback’. But when it started to arrive …it took my breath away. I couldn’t believe that complete strangers would be complimentary about my little story; not forgetting the guys who told me in graphic detail exactly what they did when they were reading it!

Question:  Have you ever gotten so turned on while writing that you had to stop to masturbate?  What story was it?

Mag58:  Every time, every time! Is it vain to say that my own stories turn me on so much I have to play with myself? I sometimes use a small vibrater when I’m writing to ‘help stimulate my senses’.

Question: Do you write from fantasy or true stories or a combination of both?  Please explain or give an example.

Mag58:  My first 10 or 12 were based on my experiences or those around me; but just about everything since (apart from ‘The Joy of Text Sex Pt1) has been fantasy. I do try to put myself in the place of the woman in my mind but these days my extra-marital affairs are all fantasy.

Question: Are the characters in your story based on real people, did you make them up, or are they a combination of both?

Mag58:  I know it’s a bit cheeky but every character really does exist (do the Simpson’s count in the ‘Headmasters Room Trilogy?). I always change the names but I (and only I) can picture every single character. I’ve had a lot of fun with names over the years and hardly anyone has guessed who the characters are meant to be.

Adding Milker in ‘Massage Student’ appeared to raise a few smiles around the world!

Question: What parts of "Yourself" do you put into your characters?

Mag58:  I suppose all of my females are me in some way, especially when they are nice homely women who turn into sex crazed monsters once a man has his way with her (e.g. Miss Goody-Two Shoes) – just like real life (?).

Question: If there was one trait you could take from one of your characters in your stories, and put it in place in your real life, what would it be and why?

Mag58:  Nothing springs to mind – perhaps I should write a story about a millionairess…ha, ha, ha.

Question: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go?

Mag58:  The ideas come from an enormous variety of circumstances. A few of my most recent stories have come from ideas that my ‘fans’ have suggested or sometimes I’ll watch people interacting or I’ll overhear a conversation or I’ll spot something on the web that ‘sows a seed’ in my mind. These ideas help me while away the hours driving up and down the motorways of the UK.

The time it takes varies dramatically; ‘Dirty Old Men’, ‘My Little Pink Friend’ and ‘Disco Des’ were all written in one night; finishing at 4 or 5am.

Other times it can take weeks to edit and re-edit to get it just right.

Question: How do you come up with your story titles?

Mag58:  I try to make them eye-catching; song titles come in handy.

Question: What is the hardest part of writing a story?

Mag58:  For me it’s making the scenario believable and not repeating myself. I’ve written 48 stories (33 and counting on EroticStories.com) so finding a storyline or a scenario that I haven’t used before is becoming more and more difficult.

Question: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn’t have any knowledge about or maybe for a sex scene?

Mag58:  I’ve had to surf a lot of sex sites in the last couple of years looking for ideas, expressions and scenarios to make my stories believable. I’ve never been spanked or peed in front of someone but wanted to write stories that included these subjects. There are other ‘naughty’ subjects that I’ve posted elsewhere that really stretched my imagination but I adored the challenge and the feedback told me that I had been quite realistic in my descriptions.

Question: Do you have any secret stories you don’t want to publish for the public?  Do you publish your stories on other sites besides EroticStories.com and if so, why?  Have you ever been published on paper?

Mag58:  Everything is in the public domain. I currently post on 3 different sites as I’ve written some very dark/kinky stories that couldn’t be published on this site. Some of the stories could easily be edited for EroticStories.com if I can get my arse into gear.

I was told that one of my stories was published in a men’s magazine but I never saw it or got paid!

Question: When you receive negative comments do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing?

Mag58:  I usually get into an argument! I once had all of my stories removed from a site because of my temper.

After 5 years of writing ‘My Peeping Brother-in-Law’ I still get people complaining that the young lad’s age changes towards the end. As I keep pointing out I had to change the age to publish it on this site and I was drunk that night – I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry!

Plus why do our American cousins get their knickers in a twist over ass/arse and the word fanny? I’m English so we call a ladies’ front bottom a fanny and an Ass is a half horse - half donkey.

Why do some men ‘punish themselves’ by reading adultery type stories when they’ve obviously been hurt by a woman in the past – move on guys!

Reading Habits:

Question: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories?  Which categories do you enjoy the most?  Do you like true stories or fantasies?

Mag58:  Ooh yes. I can’t get to sleep in a hotel without reading a couple of dirty stories first, usually ‘older women’, ‘adultery’ or ‘interracial’ but if I’m researching a new subject I’ll read a few stories about that topic.

I prefer stories to be ‘believable’ if not actually true in the real sense of the word.

Question: Do you vote on other author's stories? How do you decide what score to give when you do?

Mag58:  I try to and never give less than 7. If I don’t like a story I just stop reading it and move on – a lot of my critics could learn from that philosophy.

Question: Do you send other author’s comments or feedback on their stories?

Mag58:  Definitely, if a story is well written and fresh or just a different take on a subject. I don’t think that it’s my place to criticize – I leave that to pedantic people.

Question: Do you have a favorite author on ES?  What makes them your favorite?

Mag58:  I have several – they are all different styles and just appeal to me. I look forward to stories by Ole Reb, Sally, Stormbringer, The Rake and liked most of The Bishop’s stories – where did he go?

Question:  When you read a story do you:  A. Touch yourself and come around the same time one of the characters do?  B. Touch yourself but wait for the end to come? C. Touch yourself but wait until after you finish the story to come, such as after going to bed? D. Not touch yourself until you are finished and then continue thinking about the story and come?  E. Any other variation you may do? (Please tell us what it is)

Mag58:  It can take as many as 4 or 5 stories before I can bring myself off depending on my mood and the quality of the writing. Generally I try to cum at the climax to the most erotic story usually when the man cums.

Sex Habits:

Question: Do you enjoy the visual side of erotica, as in porn movies or pictures? If so, do you have any favorites?

Mag58:  Yes I do. I currently enjoy the ‘story’ type movies – ‘My First Sex Teacher’ and ‘MILF Hunter’ spring to mind.

I’ve discovered a file-sharing site that lets me download music and porn – how good is that?

Question:  Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw?  Tell us about it?

Mag58:  I have two older brothers that had a lot of mucky books (Playboy, Mayfair etc) that I ‘borrowed’ as a teenager. That was probably when I discovered Erotic Stories – ‘I Confess’ in Fiesta got me off every month in my teenage years.

I remember my husband borrowing some videos but nothing special. Do the Emmanuelle films count?

Question:  Have you ever participated in erotic photography?  If so, please tell us about it.  If not, would you rather be the photographed or the photographer?

Mag58:  A lot of my ‘fans’ ask the same question – NO! I’m too old and too saggy ha, ha, ha.

Question:  What do you wear to bed?

Mag58: A smile.

Question: Do your sex life and writing have any correlation with each other??

Mag58:  No. I still get enough at home to more than satisfy my actual needs but this girl still has to have a few secrets and fantasies.

Question: How would you rate your willingness to try new things in bed?

Mag58:  Nothing ventured – nothing gained, but my experimental days are long gone. Some nights a cuddle is all I need.

Question: What’s the kinkiest thing you have done in your life?

Mag58:  Ooh…that’s a bit personal! I suppose two guys at once, which I’ve done 3 times (!) would be the wildest.

No matter what the Americans think Anal is still regarded as naughty/kinky over here.

Question: Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfil?

Mag58:  Not really – sorry to disappoint everyone.

Question: What do you think about solo sex?

Mag58:  If a job’s worth doing well – do it yourself!

Question: What is your opinion about sex toys? Do you have any toys yourself and if so, do you like to use them?

Mag58:  I’ve had a few over the years and now have two favourites – a small 4 inch vibrater and a 7 inch life like dildo which go everywhere with me. I tried the ‘Rampant Rabbit’ but it wasn’t for me.

Question: What are your favourite; and least favourite positions?

Mag58:  I love doggy fashion and 69 but anything in a sports car would be out of bounds these days.

Question: Do you believe in one night stands?

Mag58:  I’m not proud of my past but not embarrassed by it either, so it wouldn’t be the first time that I’ve had a knee-trembler and not known his name.

Question: What makes someone sexy to you?

Mag58:  A smile, clean finger nails and shiny shoes.

Question: What is a major turn on for you during sex?

Mag58:  Swearing/dirty talk! Oral – giving and receiving. My husband’s face if I’m wearing stockings.

Question: What is a major turn off for you during sex?

Mag58:  Being taken for granted. Guys – it takes two to tango.

Question: Sex-talk. Do you like or dislike talking during sex?

Mag58:  See above – but don’t call me a bitch or a slut!

Question: In bed or on the kitchen table?

Mag58:  In bed, every time these days.

Question: What is your favourite or most memorable moment in bed?

Mag58:  A tie between losing my virginity in 1975; and giving birth to my two beautiful sons.

And Last but not least...

Question:  I recently asked Art which authors had the most stories on the site.  You are tied for #4 of the female authors with the most stories with a total of 33 stories posted. **  How does that feel?

Mag58:  That makes me proud. Without wanting to sound like a ‘feminist’; women are a small but vital part of the site and I hope I’ve encouraged other females to either write or at least not feel guilty about enjoying sex and erotic stories.

I guess I’ll have to review my stories that aren’t on this site – I want to be #1!

Question:  You are #48 on the “Top 100 favourite authors” list.**  How does it feel to know you have 89 people that have made you a favourite?

Mag58:  I’m glad so many people appreciate my work; it makes all of those lonely, horny wine soaked nights worthwhile.

Question: Do you notice any differences between the "younger" writers on here, and between the "older writers" of this site?

Mag58:  The ‘older’ writers put a lot more detail into the stories building up the tension and back-story; the ‘younger’ ones go straight into the action – just like real life again.

Question: Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

Mag58:  Everybody has at least one story in them – write it down and send it in. You have no idea the pleasure and pride you get from seeing your words on the internet.

Oh… don’t take the stories TOO literally and stop complaining about my use of the Queens’ English!

** Please note the statistics noted were current at the time of this interview was done in May.  Statistics can change daily, even hourly, so these may not be the exact numbers that you will find on the site when you read this interview.
