Q. How long have you been publishing at ES?

A. I wrote my first story in March, 2004 after reading ES stories for quite awhile. It was a pain to get onto the site to read stories until I saw the note from Art about getting easy access by simply submitting a story and becoming an author so I did just that.

Q. What and when was the first story you published here?

A. My first story was "Happy St Patrick's Day" published shortly after the event in 2004 that gave me the inspiration for the story. It was based upon the Green Dress Run put on every year by the New Orleans Hash House Harriers club. The HHH is an international club that advertises itself as a drinking club with a running problem. At this themed run all the participants (about 40 - 50 people) wear green dresses and run a couple of miles in and around the parade route while drinking beer. It was the first time I learned that a lot of women think that a straight guy like me is sexy as hell when wearing a dress. LOL. Everything in the story was true up to the actual sex part. Q. How many stories have you published since then?

A. I have written 8 stories since that first one. I have more adventures I can write about, it's just a matter of taking the time to do it.

A. My most recent one is "My 2nd First Time", which is a continuation of the story "My 1st First Time". They are the true story (a tragic/comedy) of my multi-year attempts to rid myself of my dreaded virginity.

Q. To begin with, what can you tell us about yourself? Three or four points that will help your fans get to know you a little better

A. Hmmmm, let's see. My background is in the fire/rescue service. I'm a 2nd generation firefighter from a small farm town in western Missouri. There were only 2 things to do in town. One was to ride a a tractor in the corn fields. The other was to ride on a fire truck. One just sounded a whole lot more exciting than the other. I officially began my fire service career in 1967 when I was 14 years old. There were no age limits back then, you simply did what you were big enough and mature enough to do.

After high school I went to Oklahoma State University's School of Fire Protection (the West Point of the fire service). Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Have you ever gone further and started IMing, texting or even met any of your fans?

A. I have developed an IM and text relationship with several ES co-authors, have talked to others on the phone and met one incredible lady author when I was in her town on business.

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

A. Growing up in and around fire stations makes you develop a very thick skin. Unfortunately, and I know this is true for all ES authors, very few of the readers will take the time to even vote, let alone write a comment. I get a rare comment on occasion from a reader who didn't like a particular story but never like the comments I see on other adult story websites where the reader hides behind the "anonymous" screen name and just hammers an author for story content, style, spelling, grammar, the fact that the story has sex in it, etc., etc., etc.

The few less than positive comments I have received also had suggestions on how to better my story so I don't count those as negative comments at all. I think if anyone wants to slam someone's story then they should be brave enough to identify themselves. My lowest story votes were in the low 8's and the highest in the upper 9's so overall I've been pleased by the feedback and votes.

Q. What do you think is the best story you have published here?

A. I'm my own worst critic so I think I could have done a better job on all of my stories. If you are going to pin me down (and hopefully sit on my face), then I would have to say that "An Unexpected Adventure" is my favorite story so far.
