KAY INTERVIEW

Q. How long have you been publishing at ES?

A. I've been writing here for at least 7 years. I first found the site in 2005 or 2006 and posted a few stories. I've taken down or re-written several of my earliest stories. When I looked back at them, I usually just felt like I could do a better job. I'm much happier with the stories I've written recently, though there is always room for improvement!

Q. What and when was the first story you published here?

A. I can't even remember what I posted first. How embarrassing! But, like I said, I took down some stories that I wasn't happy with and I've revisited a few others. So it's hard to recall what was first. My OLDEST story on the site is called "The Modern Bad Girl." I think it appealed to a lot of readers since it is rated pretty highly. It's very sexy, but it's not one of my favorites.

I took a real life experience and changed a lot of details about myself and what actually happened. I think I was just worried about someone discovering me posting sex stories online! And i was trying to write for other people--what I thought guys might like to read--instead of just writing for myself. My stories now are strongly based on my real life. But it's still sexy and fun--even if it's a little simple and silly. It's kind of a basic story about an innocent young girl whose roommate is away for the night--so of course she finds herself masturbating in the tub. And then she hops online for some cybersex with an older man. And this man manages to talk her into phone sex followed my a clandestine meet up and a dark alley fuck. You know, just your average, every day night for most girls! Happens all the time, right?

Q. How many stories have you published since then?

A. Including that story, I have 13 stories posted right now. And I have something in mind for number 14. Unfortunately, life is getting in the way. The last few months I've spent way too much time at work, which is really cutting into the time I'd spend writing about having sex. Worse than that: it's cutting into all the time I'd prefer to spend having actual sex!

Q. What was your most recent one?

A. My last story is called "The Internship." It's actually currently the highest rated story I have on the site--though I know that can change with only a few votes. It's actually very different from my other stories. Everything else I've published is told from the first person perspective of "Kay," the female narrator. For this story, I tried taking the male point of view for the first time. The readers seemed to like it, but I don't know if that's due to the change in style or if it's just a more exciting story!

"The Internship" is a fact-based story taken from my own life. The events took place about six years ago when I had a summer internship that led to a sexual fling with an older male co-worker. It has a lot going on in it sexually. There's oral sex, sex at work, male-female, group sex, girl-on-girl, a little light bondage, and a boy/girl/girl threesome.

I actually hope to write a sequel to it at some point. My college years were filled with inspiring material. Then again, the years since have been pretty exciting, too!

Q. To begin with, what can you tell us about yourself? Three or four points that will help your fans get to know you a little better.

A. Sometimes you're at work or in some other group setting where someone asks you to talk about yourself as an icebreaker. I'm the girl who never knows what to say in that situation! I'm not good at just introducing myself without specific questions! And the things I have to say always seem so trite and ordinary. But here's the basics: I'm in my mid-20s. I went to an upscale, all girls, religious affiliated prep school as a girl--but I didn't come from a lot of money. My parents just wanted to give me the best opportunities. And maybe they thought it would keep me out of trouble and away from experimenting with sex and illegal substances. Of course, it didn't work out that way, but how were they to know that their little girl would be just as interested in women as men? I'm college educated and career-oriented and I've never been big on the idea of relationships and commitment.

And I like sex. I like to read about sex. I like to think about sex. I like to write about sex. And I really, really like having sex.

Q. Tell us about your first truly memorable and exciting erotic experience - who was it with, what did you think, what did you do?

A. Memorable describes a lot of my experiences! It's hard to choose just one! But TRULY memorable will always be my first time. I know it doesn't happen that way for a lot of people. But for me, it was with my closest friend at boarding school. We'd grown really close and I'd always known she was into girls, but it was honestly not something I'd really considered. I was young and naive and I'd come from a very religious family and was still clinging to childish views of sex being something you did with one person of the opposite sex and only after the two of you were in love.

She would tease me about being a good girl and pretend to flirt with me. One time the flirting went a little too far and got physical. Of course, I ran away from the situation and tried to pretend like it hadn't happened and like I hadn't enjoyed her touch and her kiss. But I couldn't get it out of my mind. A few days later we went all the way. She sucked my titties and finger-fucked me until to orgasm. It was the first time I'd ever gotten off from someone else. And the relationship just went to another level from that point. We were best friends and fuck buddies and we did everything two women can do to one another.

I'm a very sexual person. And that would probably be true no matter what my first experience was like. But it all started with that experience. That's what opened Pandora's Box. And it was the basis of one of stories posted on this site.

Q. What do you look for in a lover... and what do you look for in a one-night stand?

A. For a lover--like an ongoing thing--there are a lot of things to consider. Obviously, they have to be good at sex. But they also have to interest me as a person. They have to be relatively laid back and not needy or jealous. And confident--but not cocky or crass.

For a one-night stand: if it's a guy, it's purely physical. It just has to be the right combination of personality, style, having a ripped physique, and a good head of hair. Age is important as long as he's kept himself in shape. With a woman, it's a little more difficult to describe. It's never just appearance. There are plenty of women who are beautiful and sexy who just don't do it for me because they lack something. Just having the right attitude and a bit of mystery is what really draws me to a woman. I've never fucked a bimbo. (But I have been with my share of dumb jock types!)

Q. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done? And what did you think about it afterward?

A. I think the definition of kinky depends on who you ask. Personally, I'm not really into toys and props or anything involving pain or humiliation. Light bondage is about as far as I go. I've had sex in public. I've been involved in more group sex scenarios than I can count! I've had sex with men and women. I've had sex at work. I seduced a teacher when I was in school and I've been the first female lover of women who'd previously only been with men. I guess the wildest thing is probably having a secret fling with a married man--and then starting a secret fling with his wife!

Q. What is the strangest place you have ever had sex?

A. Everyplace is great for having sex! There's no strange places! But there are plenty of unusual ones in my past. There were tons of unusual places in my school days. Once on a covered bridge. Plenty of times in cars parked in not-so-private locations. In dark alleys, in public restrooms, on beaches, on playgrounds (at night only!), and once in a park at night on dugout bench of a little league field. At work. At places where other people work. I've never had sex on public transportation, though. Well, unless you count fingering as sex. Or if you count the back of a cab as public transportation. Honestly, I'm up for anyplace as long as the risk of getting caught is pretty low. I get off on a little bit of risk. But I don't actually want to get caught or arrested! I don't foresee joining the mile high club in my future. An airplane just seems way too risky!

Q. Big cocks or small? Cut or uncut?

A. Give me a big, thick pussy-wrecker ANY TIME. It's not that I'm a complete size queen. Technique and stamina are at least as important as size. But all things being equal, I prefer a big one. Just thinking about riding a nice, thick cock gets me wet. If I have to choose between long or fat, I prefer girth. I definitely won't turn down a man with average equipment who can fuck all night. Size isn't a deal breaker. But I don't think any woman would truthfully turn it down if they could magically make their man just a little longer or thicker. There's a reason that most dildos look like they belong hanging from an elephant!

Q. Tell us some of your sexual preferences.

A. Men and women of any age or race! I've been with more women than men and I'm way more likely to hop into bed with a woman I just met. I get more exited pleasing a woman than I do pleasing man. But, still, absolutely nothing beats being fucked long and hard by a sweaty, athletic man with a nice, thick cock!

Q. When you began writing erotic stories -and why?

A. I started reading sex stories when I was just a teen. Back then it was just the standard bodice-rippers that you can find in the romance section of any book store. I graduated to hardcore later on the internet. But so many of the stories are male fantasy. And stuff aimed at women that had more description and detail was always tame--as if we aren't interested in the really graphic stuff. I started writing because I wanted to see more stories like the ones I wanted to read. And it was fun writing about my own adventures and reliving them in my mind. Almost like journaling. Plus, on a lonely night it's a great way to get myself worked up! The only problem is that I can never finish a story in one sitting! I get too distracted!

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

A. It's definitely the way I get myself worked up while reliving my own adventures. But I also like the confessional aspect of it. I'm a pretty private person. With writing, I get to share my life with a bunch of strangers. And that's fun and hot. Plus, I'm a bit of an egomaniac. So I LOVE when I get positive feedback and nice comments. I wish more people would take the time to vote or drop a note!

Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

A. To the people who see me everyday, I'm just your typical, above-average, somewhat conservative, prim and proper, type A, professional over-achiever. I dress very professionally. I think most of my co-workers suspect that I'm frigid since I never have a serious boyfriend and don't respond to their attempts to flirt. But I like to maintain a certain image and don't see any benefit to having to deal with outdated or misogynistic perceptions about women who like to have sex. Only the people who've been with me know how insatiable and ravenous I am. Some of my close friends know that I post stories here. And some other people here know the "real" me. But, for the most part, this side of me is my little secret and only for a chosen few to discover.

Q. What is your favorite category to write in, and why?

A. My stories almost never seem to fit into just one category! Threesomes, sex at work, first time...my stories are all over the place!

Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?

A. My stories are all me! The female protagonist--who is usually the narrator--looks like me and acts like me (at least in all my recent stories). The stories are all based on my real life. I'm not going to claim that they're 100% accurate and factual. I don't think anyone can make a story that's 100% fact. Aside from the typical "names and places have been changed to protect the identity of others," there is typically some embellishment. Maybe an extra orgasm or a location or wardrobe change to make things a little wilder and sexier. Nobody wants to hear about some chance encounter where a guy wiggled up my skirt and I was wearing boring, cotton granny panties!

Q. Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

A. No. I can't even think of any unfulfilled fantasies. As a woman, it's pretty easy to find people to do what you want. I guess if I knew I could get away with full blown exhibitionism--sex in public in front of strangers--and there would be no repercussions, then I would definitely be interested in that.

Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Have you ever gone further and started IMing, texting or even met any of your fans?

A. I've met several people online and even a few from this site. Especially when I first started writing. I even posted a couple of stories about it. Usually, we'd meet up and the typical night would end up with a blowjob or maybe sex if there was a real connection and the guy acted like a gentleman.

The problem is that a lot of guys don't know how to behave. Just because I write sex stories doesn't give someone a right to tell me all their nasty fantasies in the first email. And it doesn't mean that we'll meat and I'll immediately lie back, lift my skirt, and spread my legs.

Recently I've only met women on the site. Typically only fellow authors and only if I feel a real connection and we're going to be in the same town.

But I don't have any rules about it. I would be totally willing to meet up with a guy if he struck my fancy.

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

A. I appreciate feedback if it comes in the form of constructive, thoughtful criticism. I'm annoyed if it's more condescending. And if it's just plain rude or mean-spirited...well, I'm a pretty confident woman, so I typically just get a laugh out of someone trying to be a jerk. I think the nastiest things I've received have been really offensive things about interracial stories or girl on girl stories. Sorry...if someone thinks calling me a "dyke" is going to hurt my feelings, they're just going to have to try harder.

Q. What do you think is the best story you have published here?

A. "I Think I Have Some Studying" is special because it is about my first time. Like I said earlier, that was an incredible, special experience for me. And "I Want You to Fuck My Wife" is a favorite because I think it's clever and sexy as hell and it was fun to write. Of course, "The Internship" has received the most positive feedback from readers.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

A. Oh, I feel like I've said so much already! I do hope that people take the time to read this and they'll drop me a line if they enjoyed it. And I always appreciate the people who read my stories and especially the ones who take a few seconds to vote and send along a note. Writing isn't always easy and it definitely takes time, so I love getting just a little bit of gratification! I'm sure every author says the same thing, but it's true. It means so much to know someone enjoyed it. And I hope people will keep finding my stories interesting. I can't promise that every story will be for every person, but I appreciate those who approach them all with an open mind. And if the haters want to send along a nasty little note to tell me I'm awful or a whore, I will appreciate that and enjoy getting a giggle from their immaturity.
