OTAZEL INTERVIEW

Q. How long have you been publishing at ES?

A. For about the last five years, with a couple of short breaks

Q. What and when was the first story you published here?

A. Okay, I'll look that one up. The earliest still on site is 'Pleasuring Patricia,' but I have a feeling (who doesn't?) that there was an earlier one which I sold and so took down.

Q. What was your most recent one?

A. 'The Trap is Sprung.'

Q. To begin with, what can you tell us about yourself? Three or four points that will help your fans get to know you a little better

A. I'm a retired market trader, living on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon, England, and whose birth-date on his birth certificate must surely be out by about ten years. I'm single, possibly open to offers, about 5'11" tall and maybe a few pounds over the optimum, and my hair can't decide if it should go grey or fall out.

Q. Tell us about your first truly memorable and exciting erotic experience - who was it with, what did you think, what did you do?

A. It was with my first serious girlfriend, aged just about sixteen, and we did just about everything except 'it'! It was the first time someone else had made me cum (and vice versa) and I couldn't stop thinking about it for a week.

Q. What do you look for in a lover... and what do you look for in a one-night stand?

A. First for a one night stand, simply availability! For a lover, openness and truthfulness about likes and dislikes.

Q. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done? And what did you think about it afterwards?

A. Not gonna tell you, but what I thought afterwards was 'Oh fuck!'

Q. Coward! Okay, what is the strangest place you have ever had sex?

A. About fifteen feet up a tree.

Q. Big tits or small? Legs or ass?

A. Small tits (but not too small) and long legs.

Q. Have you ever met a girl who couldn't fit your cock in her mouth? What did you do instead?

A. No - What do you think I am, Nellie the elephant?

Q. It happens! Okay, tell us some of your sexual preferences.

A. Pretty much anything but not to the extreme, though I love oral either way.

Q. When you did begin writing erotic stories -and why?

A. In 2006, for a bet. I wrote one and a girl I met online wrote one, we both posted them on a site similar to this one, and the one that got the highest score won #20. I won!

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

A. The idea that you can turn someone on who you have never met and probably never will. - Is that a power trip?

Q. Probably, but it's a fun one. I've always believed the people who can write convincing erotica, do. The people who can't, they become politicians. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

A. Some do, some don't. I don't advertise it, but nor do I hide my writing. Mostly they seem to find it amusing and slightly risque, although a couple take it seriously. (or so they say).

Q. What is your favorite category to write in, and why?

A. Don't think I have a favorite category, maybe first time, or anything where the main character has his/her boundaries stretched.

Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?

A. We all draw on experiences, don't we?

Q. Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

A. Yes, and that's all I'm saying!

Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Have you ever gone further and started IMing, texting or even met any of your fans?

A. I've had text and email conversations with a couple of fans and enjoyed doing so (one or two ideas stemmed from them), but I've not met any so far.

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

A. If negative comments are for a reason and not just "I don't like stories about ****, so that was shit", then I learn from them. Low votes, the same.

Q. What do you think is the best story you have published here?

A. 'Busy Fingers', without a doubt. I enjoyed writing it, and to get a good score writing as a man about lesbians is (I think) quite an achievement. I'm proud of it.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

A. Yes - Your input helps my output. And I know I've said that before. Also and equally importantly - Thank You

Q. Finally, do you have a website or a blog, where your fans can visit and maybe learn more about you?

A. Not yet, but I'm thinking about one.
