CHELLEE BIG CANNONS INTERVIEW

Q. How long have you been publishing at ES?

A. I'm a relative newcomer to the site. I started reading back in 2011, when I was going through a really crazy phase in my life, and interacted with a few people on the site. They encouraged me to write and I eventually did!

Q. What and when was the first story you published here?

A. My first story was added on April 18, 2012 according to what's on my author page. It's called "The Wedding Party." The story is about a trip I took in 2011, not long before my fortieth birthday, and how I decided to come out of my shell after years of being a "good girl" librarian.

Q. How many stories have you published since then?

A. At the time of this interview, I have eight published, but I hope to keep adding more as I get time.

Q. What was your most recent one?

A. Right now my most recent story is called "Day 100: The Big Four-Oh." It continues following the events of my real life sexual awakening that started when I was 39 years old. In this story, I celebrate my 40th birthday in Cancun with my best friend and some sexy young hotel guests. It's got a little of everything. Boy-Girl. Boy-Girl-Boy. Girl-Girl. And Girl-Girl-Girl-Boy-Boy!

Q. Now, is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?

A. Where to begin? My history is pretty much alluded to in my stories. I'm blond, early 40s, and I went to college and graduate school to become a librarian. I've worked in public libraries for almost 20 years. For most of my life I've been the "good girl." I've always enjoyed sex with my partner, but I never had a one night stand, I never did anything risky (like sex in public), and most of the time sex was intimate and tender between me and my partner. A few months before my 40th birthday I made an impulsive decision to change all that. I was at a destination wedding alone, I'd been single for over a year, and one of the groomsmen hit on me shamelessly in a bar. Once I let myself go and experienced guilt free fun without a puritanical conscience weighing me down, it was hard to stop. I kept making little rules to myself. Like I'd only do it when I was out of town. Or I'd only do it up until my birthday. But every time I made a rule I ended up breaking it. And I kept talking myself into trying new things so I wouldn't miss any experience. In the course of a year I went from being the good girl who only had sex after the third date (and always with an age appropriate man with a good job!) to someone who'd fucked guys and girls of every age--often at the same time.

Q. How and when did you begin writing erotic stories?

A. I started in 2012. My best friend kept pushing me to document my experience. I met someone who wrote stories and she also encouraged me. I've always enjoyed writing, but never had anything interesting to say until that point.

Q. Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?

A. Nope! ES is the exclusive home of Chellee Big Cannon stories!

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

A. I think it's a continuation of the secret bad girl thing that's been going on in my life the past couple of years. I still work in a library. I'm a fit, curvy blonde, so men are always going to notice me. But I'm very shy and mild-mannered and dress a bit like 1960s housewife. People assume I'm frigid. And I don't mind them thinking that. My experiences have been about discovering a new me and only sharing that with those closest to me (and a bunch of strangers!) Publishing it all here feels like a dirty little secret. I use a fake name and I never post pictures of my face. I live in a suburban town. There's a chance someone might see my writing and put two and two together and recognize me, and that's a thrill. But I don't think it will ever really happen.

Q. What is your favorite category to write in, and why?

A. I think the categories are a little arbitrary and hard to pick. Very few of my stories fit into just one. I guess if you were to look for one recurring theme, it's older/younger. Because lately I don't have much interest in being with people my own age unless they're absolutely amazing physical specimens. I love young, hard bodies and relentless stamin

A.

Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?

A. The woman in my stories is 100% me and the stories are mostly truth. Of course, there is some embellishment and I simplify things to help the narrative--nobody wants to read "And then he paused to put on a condom," right? But my life is really the centerpiece in my tales. I try to include some of the morality conflicts and guilt I've struggled with in real life as I've broken out of a lifelong shell, but I don't focus on it too much because it's not what people are here to read!

Q. Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

A. To refer back to the only real change I've made is taking out the protection. I would LOVE to have scorching hot sex with more than one partner and not have to worry about such things, but that isn't exactly practical. Though if there are any groups of hot college boys out there that want to all submit to STD tests...maybe something can be arranged? ;)

The other thing that comes up a lot in my stories is sex in very public places. And while that element is true, I have exaggerated the risk a bit. I'd love to be more carefree. The idea of being fucked on a public beach in broad daylight with strangers around--and some even watching--is a major turn on. Too bad laws exist!

Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

A. There is no partner in my life! I have a few close friends that know about the writing, and they're all amused by it. There are also some people I've hooked up with that I still see regularly, and they have no idea they're the subject of a sex story on the internet!

Q. What, if any, difficulties do you face when writing - erotic writing difficulties and general writing difficulties? And how do you overcome them?

A. I'm a horrible editor of my own work! I miss typos and grammatical errors. And it's always a little embarrassing and annoying when people point them out as if I'm ignorant of the mistakes.

Q. How about in more general terms - how do you feel about the "outside world"'s perception of erotic writing?

A. That's a tough question? What is the outside world's perception? I think erotica is mostly fluff. And a lot of it is bad. Especially that 50 Shades crap that gets published and gets a bunch of housewives worked up. I tend to think that writing--regardless of the genre--can be judged on the same scale. There needs to be characterization and good language choices and shouldn't be repetitive. That said, I try not to take it too seriously and don't think anyone else should. If you're reading erotica for a turn on, that's what you should judge the piece on. We're not writing Tolstoy here. Though if someone has something with that kind of literary depth AND hot sex, I'd buy all their books and be their number one fan.

Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Do you have any favorite topics that have surfaced in these "conversations"?

A. Absolutely my favorite is a female fan who often shares her sexual exploits with me by email. It's very sexy to get a naughty little secret from a kindred spirit. I love when people tell me about their lives and their experiences. Or when I can tell they've really read the piece. I'm less enchanted with the ones I suspect send the same generic naughty come-ons to every female writer on the site.

I've only met up with one person from the site and that happened before I posted my first stories. We built up a rapport when I read some of her work, and she eventually convinced me I should give it a try since my story is somewhat unique.

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

A. I hate it! Everyone is trying to have a good time here, so I don't see the need to be a jerk in the comments. If something is not your cup of tea, then just move on to another story. There's tons of great work to choose from! As for low votes, I don't mind them if someone has a good explanation. But, again, everyone is here for a good time. So I don't see the point of negativity.

Q. What kind of stories would you never write?

A. I don't know. Never say never, right? So far, I haven't written any that aren't fiction or about me, but I may do that one day. I can't ever see myself writing the story you see here often about some old guy with a young naive girl. I think it's a little creepy and misogynistic. Not to mention unrealistic. Obviously, my own interests are the opposite--where they young male is the object of desire for the older woman.

Q. And do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site?

A. I do read and always vote and respond, but my author name is not my login because I don't want to be in a situation where people are voting for me because I gave them a good vote. I want my stories to be judged on their own accord, not because someone has a relationship with me.

Q. Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw?

A. Oh, the first was undoubtedly some skin magazine in the eighties. Nothing trashy. It was Playboy. The first movie I actually saw wasn't until college when some girl in the dorm had a video. I didn't see the point! But I was such a prude back then. All the sex with no strings was silly and offensive to me and I felt it was just male fantasy. I'm still not really into watching porn. I'd rather be living the experience.

Q. Tell us about your first truly memorable erotic experience - who was it with, what did you think, what did you do?

A. Everybody's first time is memorable--for better or for worse! Mine was with a boy I dated for a long time and we dated long after our first sexual experience together. But aside from that first time, there was nothing memorable about the sex. It's all a blur now.

My first memorable lover was in my twenties. He was a beautiful man who I dated for a couple of years who had a chiseled body and a massive, throbbing cock. He was the first man I dated who was really hung and it changed my perception of the whole debate--which isn't really a debate since every girl would prefer a big one. We weren't wild sexually. We didn't do anything risky and the sex was always tender and loving, but it was intense. And he felt incredibly inside me. I don't spend much time living in the past and every relationship ends for a reason, but that's the one lover I would think back to in future relationship and often feel guilty. I didn't miss being in a relationship with him, but there were times alone in the shower or in bed when my partner was sleeping when I would think back to that man's hulking, massive torso as his sweat dripped on my naked body and imagine that throbbing cock stretching me to my limits.

Q. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done?

A. I think kinky is a matter of taste! As far as something that people would find shocking, I think it's covered in my story "Day 31: The Single Father." I slept with my boyfriend's son! But others mind find some other things kinkier. I've slept with brothers at the same time. In my latest post, I recounted having loud sex on a hotel balcony that faced a courtyard full of people.

Q. What is the strangest place you have ever had sex?

A. I don't know if there's any one place I would call strange. I've never had sex in a graveyard or anything! But there are plenty of fun ones. I've had sex at work several times. Sometimes after hours, but I've also had a young woman lick me up and down in my office at the library during business hours. I've had sex on a very public hotel balcony. I've had sex in a hospital when I was dating a doctor in a room that wasn't in use. I've also had sex inside the cab of some heavy machinery at a construction site.

Q. Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

A. I have a few. As I mentioned before, hot, unprotected sex with a few partners is a turn on. Being fucked in front of strangers is a huge turn on. Not in a private, controlled setting like some erotic party, but in a very public place with random people. The beach is always the place that comes back to me. Me and a female friend--or stranger--frolicking in the tide and things taking an erotic turn. And maybe some random hot guy joining in and the three of us going for it on a towel or blanket in the sunlight with people strolling by.

Another fantasy is those stories you read about porn stars breaking records with how many guys they fuck in 24 hours. I wouldn't want to set any records, but there's definitely an appeal to a fantasy of having a group of men focused on nothing but me. One between my thighs and one in my mouth with a couple of guys sucking and teasing my nipples while a few more guys watch with hard cocks that are eager to be inside me.

Q. What is a major turn on for you during sex?

A. I've a very visual person. So I'm turned on by big cocks or the sensual curves of a woman's body. I love a woman's breasts. Sex for me is very much about the idea as much as it is about the physical pleasure. Of course, a sexy partner is a huge turn on. When I'm dating someone there's plenty of things that I consider more important than being a male Adonis. But for just meaningless sex, I want my man to be a sculpted physical specimen. Young and toned with a big dick. That's why I like younger men. That and because they have limitless stamina and can usually go again and again ever after cumming.

And, in case I didn't emphasize it enough, I LOVE a huge cock. Thick or long. Preferably both! I love the sensation of having it inside me.

Q. How about a major turn off?

A. A lack of respect. I'm not some school girl. A man has to treat me with respect. I don't like anyone who is condescending or who objectifies me or treats me like meat or some fantasy goddess. Sex is fun for me, too. I'm there to enjoy it. Not make some man's dream come true! Also, anything like racism or sexism or homophobia shows me that someone isn't intelligent enough to spend time with me.

Q. How do you feel about same sex relationships, both personally and as a writer?

A. I think they're fantastic. I think it's very sexy. I've never had a "relationship" with another woman, but I've had sex with them. I do hate it when people say they are OK or turned on by two women but then offended by two men. In most cases I think they're full of shit and trying to hard to cover up their own interests and desires. When it's right in front of you and not on some screen, it's hot to watch people have steamy, intense sex. Gender doesn't matter.

Q. Do you explore these feelings, positive and negative in your stories?

A. I think it definitely comes through in my stories! There are really no negative experiences about it. As I've said, sex is something positive and fun. As long as nobody is getting hurt or used, then people shouldn't be judgmental or offended by something that just isn't their cup of tea.

Q. How long does it take for you to write a story? Could you talk us through the process?

A. It really depends on my schedule. Sometimes it takes weeks because I just don't have the time and I lose my place writing in short bursts. Sometimes I get so worked up and excited I just can't write anymore. But I've also been able to knock out a story in only 2 or 3 writing sessions, typically of a few hours a piece. I always have the idea in my mind before I start, since so far I'm giving a pretty straight linear narrative of my adventures and haven't tried anything unusual.

Q. What do you think is the best story you have published here?

A. The last one is always the best one--until the next one comes! That said, if I were recommending a story, I always suggest starting with the first. It might not be the wildest story, but it's definitely the one with most background information on me and it sets up all the others. As for the sexiest, I'd have to go with one I mentioned earlier: "Day 31: The Single Father." Everything about it was just so dirty!

Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

A. I really enjoy having fans and I'm grateful any time someone takes the time to read a story and send a vote and comment. And, of course, I'm grateful for anyone who took this time to read the interview and get to know me better!
