What can I say about our next Author? Stormbringer has contributed a total of 97 stories to ES and is also in the top 5 of the Top Favorite Authors list. I, for one, am thankful he decided to take the time and answer all the questions we asked of him. Happy reading!

Tell us about you:

Question: First tell us something about yourself, like name, age, and some other things we would like to know about you...Let’s call it a short bio.

Stormbringer: I'm in my late thirties, married, with a new baby. I was formerly in the book business, but now work for the US government. I'm a heavy reader, mostly of historical fiction, but also fantasy or military biographies. I live on the East Coast in a beach town similar to the one described in my story "Me and Mrs Jones." I keep my real name anonymous since it's too easy to google people these days.

The baby and a new job change are the reasons my story output has declined.

Question: What are you wearing right now?

Stormbringer: Jeans and a T-shirt

Question: Does your spouse or significant other know you write, and if so, what does he/she think?

Stormbringer: No. Nobody who knows me is aware that I write sex stories on the internet.

Question: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life?

Stormbringer: Not at all. I write when I have a free hour or two. I do occassionaly brainstorm ideas while at work or on vacation.

Question: How did you come up with your ES nickname?

Stormbringer: It's somewhat of the ol' male phallic nickname. I jokingly called my penis excalibur. You know, King Arthur's sword of power, able to pierce any armor. There were too many excaliburs already taken when I was picking an email address so I went with the name of another sword from a fantasy series, "Elric of Melnibone by Michael Moorcock."

Question: What brought you to EroticStories.com? What made you want to stay and become a part of it?

Stormbringer: I discovered eroticstories early on when it was 100% free in either a random search or a link. It seemed a nice, well put together site so I chose it as the first place I post. I do occassionaly post at other sites and I use asstr.org as a repository for everything I've written.

Question: Boxers v Briefs? / Panties v Thong?

Stormbringer: Boxers. My underwear somewhat reflects my humorous personality. I usually wear funny boxers such as smiley faces, hearts, Homer Simspon, The Grinch, as well as Superman. Something about a normal guy walking around with something funny under his clothes makes me grin.

Writing Habits:

Question: What do you like the most about writing erotic stories?

Stormbringer: Fan feedback. I love it when a fan emails me to say how turned on one of my stories made them. I've had nearly a half dozen fans now write stories around my characters and universes. Recently a fan, Nicole Mounds founded a Yahoo group dedicated to my E&I series and another fan Darklord has been illustrating my stories there. It's all very flattering.

Question: How long have you been writing now? How did it all get started and what made you write your first story?

Stormbringer: I find it hard to believe, but going on seven years now. I'm currently at 177 stories (I count chapters as stories, so a four part story counts as four). It's amazing to me because I only planned on writing a few stories to see how they were received.

I got started writing by basically reading lots of sex stories. My tastes changed over time and I gravitated towards the cheating wife story. I don't like the "swinger" story where the husband wants to watch his wife with another man. Betrayal is my main turn on and the story has to be about a wife who actually winds up cheating. I got sick of reading so many of these wife watcher type stories that I decided to try my hand at writing the type of story I like to read. The wife has to start out faithful and reluctant, but is overwhelmed by some studs masculinity. Since I like betrayal, the stud is usually the husband's brother, boss, a black gardener, thief, blackmailer, etc.

Question: Which of your stories is your personal favorite, the one you enjoyed writing the most, and/or the one holds the best memories or feelings for you?

Stormbringer: It's hard to narrow down one story. "Naughty Pictures" is a personal favorite. It has two of my favorite themes, bikinis and blackmail. "Lessons From the Neighbor" is another. Each chapter has the housewife learning something new from her hung neighbor.

Ultimately, I guess I would go with, "The Unwanted Houseguest". I wrote it at a time when I planned on retiring. My goal was to create an ultimate cheating wife story. It features every theme in "cheating" stories, poker bets, blackmail, voyeurism, threesomes, etc. Many readers didn't care for the ending though.

Question: Have you ever gotten so turned on while writing that you had to stop to masturbate? What story was it?

Stormbringer: Never while writing. I often masturbate to a story once it's finished. I did it a lot more often in the early days, then I do now.

Question: Do you write from fantasy or true stories or a combination of both? Please explain or give an example.

Stormbringer: Almost everything is pure fantasy. I did write "Confessions of a Teenage Pussy Eatter" after a particularly good bout of oral sex with my wife. "Confessions" wasn't my normal fare, but at one point was my highest rated, most read story.

Question: Are the characters in your story based on real people, did you make them up, or are they a combination of both?

Stormbringer: : I'll say a combination of both. Several women characters are based on hot girls that I know. Some are based on descriptions fans send me. The characters of Wille and Xavier in the E&I series are based on black men who wrote to me wanting to be stud characters. The couple in "Hammered On Vacation" in another example as well as some others. There's a few others.

Question: What parts of "Yourself" do you put into your characters?

Stormbringer: Absolutely nothing. I'm neither a super stud or a wimp husband. I'm not a cheating wife either.

Question: If there was one trait you could take from one of your characters in your stories, and put it in place in your real life, what would it be and why?

Stormbringer: God-like sexual stamina. 'Nuff said.

Question: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go?

Stormbringer: : In the early days, I'd stay up late and complete a story in a single night. Now that I have less time, it takes a lot longer. I do a story now every three weeks or so.

The process is pretty standard. I sketch out an idea, then I write an outline, then I fill out the details. Once completed, I read through the story and do a quick editing. Then I start positng.

Question: How do you come up with your story titles?

Stormbringer: They just seem to come to me. There are very few titles that I'm not happy with. I like teaser titles, such as "The Bikini Conspiracy". How can you resist a title like that?

Question: What is the hardest part of writing a story?

Stormbringer: For now it's finding the time. Sometimes it's hard mustering the will to sit and write, especially if you've lost interest in a story.

Question: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn’t have any knowledge about or maybe for a sex scene?

Stormbringer: Very little. I did read up on Blackbeard for "Blackbeard's Captive", I also sat and watched the Westerns, Shane and High Noon before writng "Shame" and "Hung Coon."

Question: When you receive negative comments do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing?

Stormbringer: Few negative comments are constructive and even fewer have return emails. Those that do, I always respond too. Most negative comments go something like this: "And the (N-word) gave the slut aids and she died." Those kinds of comments you just delete. My story "Doctor Bitch" generated the most hate mail. I believe the reason was because it was the first story I implied that all black men were hung better then whites. Up until then my stud characters were just individuals, black or white. It was also one of my most popular stories.

Reading Habits:

Question: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories? Which categories do you enjoy the most? Do you like true stories or fantasies?

Stormbringer: I read stories along the lines of those I write. I'll check out most anything labled, cheating, interracial, or mind control. If the tagline is good, I may read other stories.

Question: Do you vote on other author's stories? How do you decide what score to give when you do?

Stormbringer: Not often. I rarely vote on a poor story. A really good story I'll give a vote of 7-9 usually, rarely a 10. Often I vote high just to encourage the author. I'll often send a short email to tell the author that I was impressed, enjoyed thier story, and can't wait to see more.

Question: Do you have a favorite author on ES? What makes them your favorite?

Stormbringer: There's not that many favorites at eroticstories. I like Catesby and Cadetman. There are plenty of stories I like, but unfortunately the authors aren't prolific with only one or two stories

Sex Habits:

Question: Do you enjoy the visual side of erotica, as in porn movies or pictures? If so, do you have any favorites?

Stormbringer: Yes, but not as much as the mental stimulation you get from reading. I'll watch short movies via the net, but not often. I do look at lots of pictures. My favorite is comic style illustrations. I'd like to see my stories turned into graphic style novels. With comic art you can give characters those perfectly proportioned bodies I like to write about.

Question: Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw? Tell us about it?

Stormbringer: : Honestly I don't. As a teen, friends and I came across porno mags stashed in the woods. I once found my grandfather's stash. It was made up of some pretty hardcore stuff. That was about 1982. Then as I entered my mid-teens, a cool mother let us rent porno movies. Not much to tell.

Question: Have you ever participated in erotic photography? If so, please tell us about it. If not, would you rather be the photographed or the photographer?

Stormbringer: The photographer. I love taking pictures, mostly nature or landscape (and now baby pictures). I'd love to have a woman pose for me or take pictures of a couple having sex.

Question: What do you wear to bed?

Stormbringer: I've always slept nude regardless of the time of year.

Question: Do your sex life and writing have any correlation with each other??

Stormbringer: None.

Question: How would you rate your willingness to try new things in bed?

Stormbringer: I'm willing to do anything with my wife.

Question: What’s the kinkiest thing you have done in your life?

Stormbringer: I haven't done anything terribly exciting. I've fooled around in pools, on the beach at 2:00am, the roof deck of a friends house. Not much more.

Question: Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfil?

Stormbringer: : Honestly no. When I was younger I always had the male, two girls at once fantasy. Now I'm just a married, monogamous, father. I wouldn't do anything myself, though I wouldn't mind directing a porn based on one of my stories.

PleasureKitten: Which of your stories would you like see turned into a porn movie?

Stormbringer: I'd like to see most of them turned into movies. My first choices would be "Naughty Pictures", "Wendy and the Witchdoctor". or "Lessons From the Neighbor." would be really neat to have computer generated CGI images enhance the stud charaters so that they could live up to the men in my stories.

Question: What do you think about solo sex?

Stormbringer: I'm all for it. Your partner is not always around or in the mood when you are. Plus, it can keep you sane between partners.

Question: What is your opinion about sex toys? Do you have any toys yourself and if so, do you like to use them?

Stormbringer: I have never needed, nor used them. I've nothing against them.

Question: What are your favourite; and least favourite positions?

Stormbringer: Missionary is probably my least favorite. It's mostly because I'm tall 6'4" and my wife is a full foot shorter. I have to arch my back to kiss her or her head is covered by my chest. I love her on her back with me kneeling between her legs. I like doggy style. My favorite is girl on top because I can lick her breasts during sex.

Question: Do you believe in one night stands?

Stormbringer: I don't believe is cheating, but if you're single go for it. Growing up in a beach town means that you're constantly surrounded by scantily clad drunk women wanting to hook up. I had a wonderful time in my twenties.

Question: What makes someone sexy to you?

Stormbringer: You can never nail it down. Certain people just strike you a certain way. I'm attracted to the sweet looking girl next door type. I've found slightly chubby girls sexy. I've found myself attracted to women based on their personality. I find women wearing glasses sexy. I have a belly button fetish. Any fit woman showing off her navel turns me on.

One thing I hate is this modern trend for women to get tattoos. To me, tattoos mar a woman's natural beauty. I want to look at her nipples, not some butterfly on her breast.

Question: What is a major turn on for you during sex?

Stormbringer: My biggest turn on is making the woman orgasm. I like looking up a woman's body as you go down on her, seeing her belly writhe, her back arch, her fingers dig into your hair or the bed. Question: What is your favourite or most memorable moment in bed?

Stormbringer: One night before my wife and I were married, we were having sex while lying on our sides. Suddenly, she froze and clutched me. She just started shaking over and over again for around ten minutes without me moving. She had seven orgasms over that time. We had sex about five times that night and the next morning and I know she came over a dozen times. I believe that was around the same time she decided she loved me. Stormbringer: Just amazing that I've turned out such a volume of work in only six years.

Question: You are #4 on the “Top 100 favourite authors” list. How does it feel to know you have 327 people that have favorited you? **

Stormbringer: It feels absolutely fantastic. It's a great feeling to post a story and see that several thousand people have read it in a few days. Some stories even hit 10,000 reads. Since many sites don't post statistics, I think it's safe to assume, 20000+ people may read certain stories. Those numbers rival many published books.

I mentioned feeling powerful making a woman orgasm during sex. Making probably thousands of people orgasm by mere words and fantasy is a powerful feeling also.

Question: Is there anybody on this site, who you would like to see interviewed? Why?
