Aren’t we lucky, we have another great female author that has agreed to do an interview for us. Maggie2002 is currently on both of the Top Author lists and has 35 stories on the site. Let’s see what answers she gives to our questions…

Tell us about you:

Question: First tell us something about yourself, like name, age, and some other things we would like to know about you...Let’s call it a short bio.

Maggie2002: My profile pretty much tells it all. I am a seasoned woman of the world. I will be sixty-two when my birthday comes in July. I was on the cutting edge of the first unfettered female generation, free to be me. I have been married forty years in April and am honest enough to say it all hasn’t been roses but even the thorns were better then not having him in my life. I work, still mother my three children now adults on their own, and I am just being to appreciate my husband’s nearly new retirement.

Question: What are you wearing right now?

Maggie2002: It’s still chilly where I live so a sweatshirt and long pants. Keeps the heat down with energy prices sky high I would rather spend money on good wine or books.

Question: Does your spouse or significant other know you write, and if so, what does he/she think?

Maggie2002: He is my favorite fan. Better yet my children do as well and they also usually like the stories unless they start thinking they might be autobiographic, then they get nervous.

Question: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life?

Maggie2002: Sometimes, I like in a small town and have had fans ask me directly if I live here or there based on a story. I did an aerial story once called “The Balloon Ride” and a loyal fan flat told me he could guess where I lived by the landmarks I pointed out. I learned to be more careful lol!

Question: How did you come up with your ES nickname?

Maggie2002: That is the easiest question so far. I was always called Maggie ,by my friends when I was younger and reverted to that part of my life as a personality for my writing and the 2002 was the first time I posted online.

Question: What brought you to EroticStories.com? What made you want to stay and become a part of it?

Maggie2002: I have been and still am on Emerson Fitz, Peacock Blue, and a couple of others including Lit erotica under the same name if anyone wants to go and see some of the old or different stuff. I find I like the fans here, and the webmaster runs a tight ship that’s nice for all concerned.

Question: What is your favorite part of your body? Why?

Maggie2002: Being a cancer survivor I am tempted to say all of it;-) but probably my eyes although I’m sure most people are expecting a sexual part they are still pretty good too. Anyway, I have large green eyes and since I believe, eyes are the windows to your soul I think mine express who I am quite well.

Question: If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be and why?

Maggie2002: Typical woman I would lose weight and take up exercising on a regular basis instead of now and then but like old dogs and contented cats habits are hard to break so I think I am destined to be large, and comfortable for the rest of my life.

Question: Boxers v Briefs? / Panties v Thong?

Maggie2002: AH! How I wish I could wear thongs but panties it is, and always the prettier the better.

Writing Habits:

Question: What do you like the most about writing erotic stories?

Maggie2002: Why first it excites me, then I get to read it to my favorite fan and it excites him and then I get wonderful feedback most of the time from people who tell me how it made them feel. I always try to flesh out my characters, if you will give them visual presence in your mind so that as you read you can see what is happening. I think that’s by far more exciting then medical terminology and cut and dried phrases that reveal to much for me.

Question: How long have you been writing now? How did it all get started and what made you write your first story?

Maggie2002: I joined a defunct site called erotic writers ran by a wonderful lady named Jude Mason and a really hot great man called Derek Musgrove now both published writers anyway they ran neat contests and you got back good feedback and hints to make yourself better. It turned me into a writing junkie. They are both now in a Mature site I run on MSN but are doing so well on their careers they only pop in when they manage the time.

Question: What categories are most of your stories in? What kind would you never write?

Maggie2002: I would never write any thing to do with elimination or sex with the dead unless it was a vampire even Anne Rice knew Vampires could be sexy;-). My favorite probably is older women and younger men or same age couples still getting it on.

Question: Which of your stories is your personal favorite, the one you enjoyed writing the most, and/or the one holds the best memories or feelings for you?

Maggie2002: I have three one is mostly autobiographical called The Balloon Ride, the other two are The slut about a woman who is won in a card game and Dreaming about a man who finds his love after dreaming of her for years.

Question: Have you ever gotten so turned on while writing that you had to stop to masturbate? What story was it?

Maggie2002: Yes I frequently get turned on but like most authors I think, I sublimate it while the Muse is working and keep it simmering until later. I have a bigger problem with the ones that make me cry. Several of my Trucking stories have done that.

Question: Do you write from fantasy or true stories or a combination of both? Please explain or give an example.

Maggie2002: From both I will admit some of my stories have characters I have met in real life now broken down to pages in a book, and some are parts of several people. I do throw in some real life but nobody could do all the things that my mind conjures up and be alive to talk about it;-)

Question: Are the characters in your story based on real people, did you make them up, or are they a combination of both?

Maggie2002: I think all authors write a little from past life or even the life they are living. Imagine what great revenge it is to take a boss who has pissed you off, a man who cut you off driving or yelled at you in the store or someone who made you feel less then wonderful and pay him back in a story that hopefully people will read for ages. Go back to high school and remember the top click you were never in, the bad group that tormented you or the girl or man who tossed you over for someone else. Revenge is a dish best served cold. It’s cheaper then a doctor and lots more fun

Question: What parts of "Yourself" do you put into your characters?

Maggie2002: Depends on the story sometimes a lot sometimes I am nowhere near me or those people who populate my life.

Question: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go?

Maggie2002: Depends some seem to write themselves, others take forever I have a working story idea file with scads of titles and maybe a page or two of sentences and the muse just hasn’t hit me over the head with more and I’m talking since I started writing. Periodically I revist to see if the theme excites me again sometimes like with the recent trucking stories I get lucky

Question: How do you come up with your story titles?

Maggie2002: That’s the toughest part. I really don’t think I’m good at it.

Question: What is the hardest part of writing a story?

Maggie2002: Ending it I tend to ramble and sometimes its hard to let the characters go. I always want to wrap things up with a and they lived happily ever after and sometimes they don’t

Question: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn’t have any knowledge about or maybe for a sex scene?

Maggie2002: My secret is now out I write a lot of D/s and have never even played at it in fantasy, anyway I have several great friends in the life style I have met during my working career and I get input from them to keep the stories real.. I also know some great witches and warlocks who help with the information required. I goofed up on research for a couple of stories as far as locations and geographical features and our smart readers caught me out both times. I learned not to cut corners or believe everything on the internet.

Question: Do you have any secret stories you don’t want to publish for the public? Do you publish your stories on other sites besides EroticStories.com and if so, why? Have you ever been published on paper?

Maggie2002: My poetry has been published, and one erotic story in a Canadian magazine. I am a lazy author and so don’t send out near enough to get the right attention. I am privileged to know several up and coming authors and am learning from them so maybe someday.

Question: When you receive negative comments do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing?

Maggie2002: Oh my now that is a subject. If the content is good for me and makes my writing better, I am glad to get it and always use it. That however is something rare. I have been lucky that I have only got a few bad notes, and thanks to Sandman learned how to deal with them. Once I was ready to quit writing thanks to a man here at Erotic Stories. I wrote a story about it instead ,and learned to laugh it off. I owe that to him Thanks Sandman

Reading Habits:

Question: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories? Which categories do you enjoy the most? Do you like true stories or fantasies?

Maggie2002: Fantasies for sure especially set in King Arthur or for younger readers Harry Potter time. I love witches and warlocks and Sci-Fi, next to Stephen King Anne Mcaffrey, and Anne Rice are two of my favorite authors in the published world. Here I have some special people I would never miss as well. We are privileged to have some good writers here.

Question: Do you vote on other author's stories? How do you decide what score to give when you do?

Maggie2002: Oh, my yes I do, there are some, I would never miss. I never look for grammar or punctuation as I am working hard enough on my own. I look for good characters and good flowing stories and wrap up. Can I believe it happened and ended the way the author tells the story.

Question: Do you send other author’s comments or feedback on their stories?

Maggie2002: Of course I do how do they know what works and doesn’t if people don’t take the time to tell them. Especially if it is well written, and the characters sing. Don’t you, or shouldn’t everyone believe they deserve some applause and that’s what comments are applause.

Question: Do you have a favorite author on ES? What makes them your favorite?

Maggie2002: I have several favorite authors of both sexes. They all share the same characteristics. Good characters, slow buildup, good endings and believable plots even their less then perfect stories are good;-) I have mentioned the Sandman, Lady Gray I love, the old Glassman in fact I wrote him today telling him I missed his stories and a long list of others. I would have to include you as well and for the same reasons. There are lots more but those come to mind.

Question: When you read a story do you: A. Touch yourself and come around the same time one of the characters do? B. Touch yourself but wait for the end to come? C. Touch yourself but wait until after you finish the story to come, such as after going to bed? D. Not touch yourself until you are finished and then continue thinking about the story and come? E. Any other variation you may do? (Please tell us what it is)

Maggie2002: Never while I’ m working sometimes if it’s a print book or a film I might. If I’m going to play its usually in the tub with the shower mate and I have some erotica that is waterproof good stories and you can drop it when required ;-)

Sex Habits:

Question: Do you enjoy the visual side of erotica, as in porn movies or pictures? If so, do you have any favorites?

Maggie2002: Erotica I would have to say Wild Orchid and Nine both turned me on there are a couple others mostly done by women but their names escape me at the moment.

Question: Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw? Tell us about it?

Maggie2002: Yeah;-) on our honeymoon my hubby’s best friend was the chief of police in a small New York town and he had quite a collection he had seized in his job. Saw the donkey Mexican thing movie, unbelievable. I still don’t like hardcore porn but if it’s hot, got a plot, and some interaction and no unbelievable action (you know what I mean) I can get into it.

Question: Have you ever participated in erotic photography? If so, please tell us about it. If not, would you rather be the photographed or the photographer?

Maggie2002: We had a Kodiak instant camera, and in our wilder days I did some posing for the husband but never anything else. I would rather be taking the pictures any time never have liked being in them.

Question: What do you wear to bed?

Maggie2002: Depends on the temperature, but usually a nightgown of some sort, used to be naked until the children arrived then got used to wearing stuff. Once in awhile we try naked but I sleep with a ceiling fan and about three a.m. I get chilly ;-)

Question: Do your sex life and writing have any correlation with each other??

Maggie2002: Not so far. The only exception is if I write something hot or read it, I tend to grab the husband and practice what I just read.

Question: How would you rate your willingness to try new things in bed?

Maggie2002: 100% never found anything I didn’t like yet.

Question: What’s the kinkiest thing you have done in your life?

Maggie2002: Memory lapse and besides my life isn’t over yet.

Question: Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfil?

Maggie2002: Yeah but none I will ever have as more then a fantasy. Read enough of my stories you will probably spot a few.

Question: What do you think about solo sex?

Maggie2002: Yeah but none I will ever have as more then a fantasy. Read enough of my stories you will probably spot a few.

Question: What is your opinion about sex toys? Do you have any toys yourself and if so, do you like to use them?

Maggie2002: Toys, everyone love toys. Yep we do, and yep we love them. Anyone who hasn’t invested in the new space age glass toys needs to reconsider they can be hot, they can be cold, and they never get tired ever.

Question: What are your favourite; and least favourite positions?

Maggie2002: Easy, doggie is my favourite and I bet I don’t have to explain that to anyone and woman on top comes in a close second Never found a least favourite even missionary is good

Question: Do you believe in one night stands?

Maggie2002: Never even in my younger wilder days when sex was still safe except for getting pregnant and the pill was taking care of that., I always preferred knowing the person well enough to be naked. Sometimes once however was enough to know there wouldn’t be a second time but they didn’t start out to be one night stands;-)

Question: What makes someone sexy to you?

Maggie2002: A man who knows who he is and is content in himself. Someone who doesn’t need a woman to make himself complete. Think John Wayne, Shaun Connery, Van Diesel for just a couple.

Question: What is a major turn on for you during sex?

Maggie2002: Ha-ha nope pleading memory loss on this one as well. I am very sensitive in the breast department so maybe breast play might come up as a favourite turn on

Question: What is a major turn off for you during sex?

Maggie2002: Never found one Maybe I was just lucky with the partners I had. I was picky and for forty years its been the same one so we pretty much k now what’s going to happen although;-) Once in awhile we still surprise each other

Question: Sex-talk. Do you like or dislike talking during sex?

Maggie2002: Like it without a doubt it’s hot to hear your man tell you how tight something is (especially at my age) how wonderfully wet you are, how good you taste or feel. Yep yummy stuff. Like to talk when I get the chance myself.

Question: In bed or on the kitchen table?

Maggie2002: In my day the kitchen table, or the hood of a car, or the hayloft, but these days comfort is wonderful so I will take my king size pillow top bed. That’s a case of been there, did that now I will settle for slow, comfortable and delicious.

Question: What is your favourite or most memorable moment in bed?

Maggie2002: Nope not talking I will plead memory loss on that one.

And Last but not least...

Question: I recently asked Art which authors had the most stories on the site. You are #2 of the female authors with the most stories with a total of 38 stories posted. This also makes you the 7th person in the list of the 10 authors (male and female) with the most stories How does that feel? **

Maggie2002: You should see the ones that didn’t make it;-) No seriously, it just means I have a big imagination and an ability to put it on paper. When I reach some of the numbers on a regular basis that some of the others have, I will know that I am doing really well until then I will just keep working harder.

I have some very loyal fans and they keep me motivated especially a wonderful lady named Kathy who always has something to say about every story. but the number who haven’t discovered me, don’t vote and so I have to keep trying harder to get them too. Authors I think are all that way. Twenty people can tell you how great you are, you want the guy or woman who hasn’t said it yet. We want it all;-)

Question: You are #50 on the “Top 100 favourite authors” list. How does it feel to know you have 87 people that have favorited you? ** Maggie2002 is not #42 with 102 people that have favorited her. She is also currently number 67 on on Top Author list with an average vote of 9.10.

Maggie2002: Tickled to death. It’s an affirmation that I am doing something right.

Question: Is there anybody on this site, who you would like to see interviewed? Why?

Maggie2002: Lady Gray or Power One are the two that pop into my head without thinking it out.

Question: Do you notice any differences between the "younger" writers on here, and between the "older writers" of this site?

Maggie2002: I think that the older writers take more time to create a story before popping into the erotic part. They make you come along and see what they see and feel what they feel. Younger writers jump right into the action which has its time and the stories are good;-) like sex at twenty you know you’re going back for more, at forty or fifty you know you can take the time to not only climb the small hills but aim for the mountain;-)

Question: Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

Maggie2002: Yes Thanks for reading my stories. I want each and every one of you to know that I’m glad you take the time to not only read them, but to send me comments on what you like, what you would like to see more, of and sometimes less of;-) It all is helpful.

** Please note the statistics noted were current at the time of this interview was done in May. Statistics can change daily, even hourly, so these may not be the exact numbers that you will find on the site when you read this interview.
