The mysteriously monikered Fantomguy's first story was published here back in 2002 - since when, he has published 21 new tales, spread across a variety of categories. So, let's begin by finding out how and when Fantomguy got started writing erotic stories?

I began writing after discovering the ES site in 2002.

Q: Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?

I've published in a few sites, but those have been few and far between compared to ES. One of the reasons I've used ES almost exclusively is the vast readership of ES. It's very satisfying to me that thousands of readers are enjoying my writings. Also, no other site provides statistics such as grading, etc.

Q: I'm sure readers have their own vision of what you look like, and who you are - how much of yourself do you include in your stories?

I think it's best to keep readers wondering about what I look like. Let's just say I'm irresistibly handsome....just kidding.

Q: What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

Primarily, it's a good outlet for my vivid imagination. I love when an idea develops into a plausible story. Also, writing keeps my typing prowess sharp. I am a hell of a typist.

Q: Do you write from experience or fantasy? Or maybe a combination of the two?

Both. There is no way one can write credible stories without first experiencing it. Also, I have a very vivid imagination. Doesn't every healthy male fantasize about a beautiful woman? However, my readers will note that almost without exception, the females in my story are intelligent as well as attractive or beautiful. I love smart women. They also make the best lovers.

Q: Is there anything you have written into a story that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

Of course. I would love to participate in something like my Seminar or Gomorrah series.

Q: Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

No. This is strictly my thing. I've been tempted to share my writings with some of my friends but have not.

Q: How about in more general terms - how do you feel about the "outside world"'s perception of erotic writing?

Obviously there are thousands... millions... who enjoy it. I know people are turned on when they read my stories and that is good. Who knows? Reading my story might make a person a better lover, partner, etc.

Q: That's a very distinctive photograph you have posted in your ES profile. A lot of writers show us what's under their clothes, but I think you're the first to show us what's beneath the flesh as well!

Don't read anything into that! Just having fun and enhancing the mystery of what I look like.

Q: One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Do you have any favorite topics that have surfaced in these "conversations"?

Oh, yes. This is exactly why I use ES. I have built up a fan base and they are wonderful. Usually the topic is writing or story plot. The only reason I write these stories is to hear from fans. Input from my fans is what keeps me going.

Q: How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

Usually, the criticism is justified. Typically, the negative comments are for not proofing the story as thorough as I should. Since I proof my own stuff, I'm prone to missing things although these are not big deals typically. However, some people really get critical about these small errors. Missing words is no big deal however grammar misuse is and I appreciate those comments.

Q: And do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site? Who are your favorites?

Sure. However, I'm suspicious of some of the writer's ratings when they are unusually high. Maybe self grading goes on???

Q: Have you ever been filmed or photographed having sex?

Nope. But I would to try it.

Q: Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw?

I guess when I was a teenager. One of my buddies had a nudist magazine that belonged to his father. It really turned me on. Also, when I was in my teens I found a deck of cards portraying porn. The cards obviously belonged to my father. I had never seen sex acts like what was portrayed on those cards... fucking, blow jobs, etc. I think I masturbated after viewing those cards. A few days later I went back to the cupboard where I initially found them but they were gone. I looked all over the house for those damn cards but could never find them again. .

Q: What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done?

Well, I was a Marine Security Guard stationed at one of the Embassies overseas. I fucked a secretary on the Ambassador's sofa in his office. The young lady was working late one night and one thing led to another. Of course, she knew I was looking down her blouse as she was typing. I knew she knew I was looking at her titties. I took the chance and reached in to touch those beautiful orbs. She jumped up and kissed me and ... well, we ended up on the Ambassador's sofa. I also fucked several beautiful lasses on the beach. All these episodes took place in Europe. I don't ;know if these would be considered kinky.

Q: Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

Again, I would love to participate in something like I describe in the Seminar series or Resort Gomorrah.

Q: What is a major turn on for you during sex?

The woman responding with vigor... ah, that turns me on. Also, I love to see jiggly tits when I'm fucking. Another major turn on is a hairy pussy. I guess I'm just old fashioned in this respect. I like hairy bushes.

Q: How about a major turn off?

I don't have a major turnoff. Even bad sex is good.

Q: How do you feel about same sex relationships, both personally and as a writer?

I'm strictly heterosexual. I love women. All kinds of women. I prefer large breasts, but enjoy small ones too. Big, small, I love them all. I had one homosexual experience when I was a teenager and I did not enjoy it. Something about a man's hairy ass turns me off.

Q: How long does it take for you to write a story? Could you talk us through the process?

I first formulate an idea and jot down a few story lines. It usually takes me two to three weeks to write a story if I stick to it. I don't do slam bam stories. My stories tend to be long because I think that for a story to be credible, the necessary details need to be part of the story.

Q: Right now, your most popular story is The Love Potion, with an average vote of 9.42. Do you agree that this is your best? Why do you think it struck such a chord?

Because everyone would like to have The Love Potion if one truly existed. The premise of this story combines science (the amazing pharmaceutical properties of the potion) with myth and fantasy. With the Potion every female will succumb it its power. But you notice that the Potion is always used descriminately and with care. I also made sure that everyone knows that it is not a harmful narcotic. I've had many, many readers tell me they would give anything for some of the Potion. So would I!!

Q: Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview and your fans? Now is your chance...

Thanks to all my readers who read my stories and especially those who take time to grade my story and send me feedback.

Q: Finally, do you have a website or a blog, where your fans can visit and maybe learn more about you?

Reply. No but I'm thinking about starting one.

Please read fantomguy's stories!
