This month I chose to interview an author known as 58. He has volunteered in the past to be a victim of the interview, and I finally took him up on his offer...

Question: First tell us something thing about yourself, like name, age, and some other things we would like to know about you...Let's call it a short bio.

Well, my name is Pete58. I have gone by that name since college. As for my age, compared to a mountain I am still an infant, compared to a housefly I am ancient. Honestly though I am not an old man...I'm 26. Lets see, what would you want to know about me? OK, I enjoy writing obviously, reading I enjoy, and thinking. I enjoy thinking because I am unable to talk about most things. Like when I was working for the government and was sent back to the year 1963 to assassinate...uhhh did I say that out loud? Ignore that...sleep...SLEEP!

Question: Does your spouse know you write, and if so, what does she think?

Well, I'm not married, but the kind of girl I would marry would not mind. She would think 'my God what a sex machine, and what a good writer. Hahaha, nah, but I think she wouldn't mind.

Question: Is it difficult for you to keep your writing life separate from your professional life?

Well, I have been working a lot so it's hard to keep my thoughts together, but I should have a new story out in few weeks. I spend time thinking about what I write and the more time I spend at work the less time I have to think about. But no it doesn't interfere.

Question: What's the main reason why you write erotic stories?

I enjoy sex, and I love satisfying a woman. And although I would love to be constantly having great sex I cant so I write erotic stories. It helps remove stress and keeps me sane when I am too busy for social activities.

Question: How did it all get started and what made you write your first story?

I had been visiting this site for many years, and I saw that anyone could submit a story. So in the summer of 2001 I wrote a story. I wasn't good in my opinion but it was archived so fan club members and authors can still read it. It was about another 4 years before I wrote again. I was going through some bad times in my personal life and needed a way to release. EroticStories was the place for me to release. Thank you Art!

Question: Do you write only fantasy or also true stories?

I take it as a mixture, all of my m/f stories are based on real experiences but I change names of course and situations. The story I am most proud of is The Yard Boy, it was based on how I lost my virginity. But of course I didn't lose it to a former model that resembled Nicole Kidman. But the sex itself was based on my experience. Like I said names and situation were changed and that's all.

Question: Which ones do you prefer to write?

Well, I enjoy doing both, I wrote a few f/f stories which were pure fantasy. As much as I would enjoy being a lesbian, I can't because I am forever stuck with a penis. So I decided to write f/f stories so I could focus on pure fantasy, writing about what it might be like to be a woman and have sex with a woman. Not easy, but I think they were good stories.

Question: Do you also enjoy reading erotic stories?

Yes, I enjoy reading them, I love to read anything or do anything that involves sex.

Question: Which ones do you prefer to read, true or fantasy?

It's hard to say. Some writers don't tell you if they are true or not. But I enjoy fantasy more than the true ones.

Question: Which genre do you enjoy the most?

I would have to say oral, I love oral sex. I love to give just as much as receive. It’s the one area of sex when a person must be a master to truly satisfy a woman or man. Reading about it and writing it are the most fun for me.

Question: How long have you been writing now?

4 years. But it feels like a lot less.

Question: Are all your stories posted on this site or do you have some secret stories you don't want to publish for the public?

Yes, they are, if I have a story to write I would post it, I wouldn't be able to hold it back.

Question: How long does it take for you to write a complete story? How does the process go?

It takes as much as five hours, If I get an idea I let it dominate my mind, let the memories of the experience (if it's based on an actual sexual experience) roam free in my mind for about a week or two without writing it out or anything. The I get on the computer and let loose like the salmon of Capistrano. (someone said is was the swallows but who would swallow Capistrano?) I don't stop writing until all of the story has been squeezed from my brain like a delicious glass of orange juice...a deliciously erotic glass of orange juice. Hehehe.

Question: What is the hardest part of writing a story?

None, I have too much fun for it to be hard. Sex should be fun, even if you only write about it.

Question: How do you come up with your story titles?

I just think about the story and decide in as few words as possible what the story is and just let that be the title.

Question: The characters in your stories, are they based on true people, if it's a fantasy story?

They are based on real people, the m/f stories as I said are based on my sexual experiences. The f/f stories are based on some women I know that enjoy the company of other women. I wouldn't base an f/f story on a woman unless she was an actual lesbian or bisexual.

Question: Do you have a favourite author on ES and if so, why? Yes, I do, PleasureKitten! Her stories really come to life, the characters in her stories are so alive and vibrant. I recommend to everyone that they read her stories. I go to her for advice but she just throw's tomato's at me and says 'NO you are not Worthy!' and then she laugh's at me. No, I'm kidding, she is as sweet as sugar and twice as erotic as me, her stories make mine look like a pile of gibberish. She is an excellent writer and my favorite. Hands down!

Question: Is there anybody on this site, who you would like to see interviewed? And why?

Well, I would have to say either PleasureKitten, I know you already interviewed her, or Sahebji. Sahebji always has funny jokes and stories on the message board, and the stories Sahebji writes are very good.

Question: Do you also publish your stories on other sites and if so, why?

No, ES is the only website for me. Good people and good stories, why try to improve on a good thing.

Question: What do you like the most and the least about writing erotic stories?

What I like most is writing about sex, almost as good as having it. Least, I really couldn't say, nothing I suppose.

Question: What genre don't you like at all? And what kind would you never write?

Well, I have never written a m/m story, and I don't imagine I would because I don't know anything about it. And I am a heterosexual. But I think people should write them more to keep ES diversified.

Question: Have you ever done research for a part of a story you didn't have any knowledge about?

No, but I am sure I would if I had to. I would ask fellow writers on ES because I think that is were the best advice would be.

Question: Have you learned anything you would like to share since you started writing erotic stories?

No, a lot of the authors on this site are great already.

Question: Which of your stories is your personal favourite, or one you enjoyed writing the most, or which one holds the best memories or feelings for you?

The Yard Boy, the experience I based it on had love, something I don't have in my life anymore. It is closest I have come to being in love again, or being loved. I was very humbled by all the votes and feedback I received for it. Thank you everyone.

Question: When you receive comments, obviously you would enjoy the positive ones, but if you receive negative ones, do you just ignore them, build from them, or let it put a negative image over the story itself, and let it hinder your writing?

I don't ignore them because they mostly come from people who are not authors, they give me a one because I miss spelled a word or two. I just tell them to gratify themselves with a dictionary if it bothers them that much.

Question: What are your thoughts when you look at your votes for your stories, and you see a line of 8's, 9's and 10's, then along comes a 5, 4, or even a 3?

Well, I don't let it bother me, my stories get 8's and 9's a lot. If the occasional 3.4, or 5 comes along I just respect the vote if it is an honest vote. As apposed to someone to fearful to write their own stories so they crap all over everyone else's.

Question: If there was one trait you could take out of one of your stories, and put it in place in your real life, what would it be and why?

Passion, the people I meet in real life anymore lack passion for the good thing's. Everyone just goes about their day working, forgetting about the pleasures of life.

Question: What is the impact of having fans had on your writing and your everyday life?

It makes me want to write even more, I appreciate my fans. And I want to make them as happy as they make me.

Question: Are you anything like your characters you write in real life?

No, the men I write in the story I sometimes keep them quiet and generic. The women in my stories are the stars.

Question: We already know you enjoy erotic stories, but do you also enjoy the visual side of erotica, as in porn movies? If so, any favourites?

Yes, I like the old one's like taboo. Although the women tend to have more hair than I would like, the older porn movies have story lines which make them more sensual.

Question: What's the kinkiest thing you have done in your life so far?

I had a sexual encounter with a girlfriend on a subway train. It was similar to that movie Risky Business, but there were other people riding around so we had to be a bit more discreet.

Question: Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfil?

So far they have all seemed to have been fulfilled. I would need to think about that for a while. I have had a lot of sexual fantasies fulfilled already.

Question: Have you ever done erotic photography? If not, would you like to be photographed or not?

I have been videotaped but never photographed. But it was just myself and the girl I was with at the time. But I wouldn't mind being photographed.

Question: What is your favourite position?

Do I have to pick just 1? OK I love the x factor. If you never heard of it look it up and try it, wow that is the best.

Question: Do you believe in one-night stands?

Only if it is mutual. Men and women should not manipulate each other, especially if the sex is great. If their is manipulation a great erotic experience is ruined because some guy or girl wants to be an A$$HOLE!

Question: What is a major turn on for you during sex?

When a women talks dirty to me. I love that.

Question: Sextalk. Do you like or dislike talking during sex?

Love it, I love for a woman to talk to me and tell me how she needs it.

Question: What is a major turn off for you during sex?

The economy...and farting.

Question: What do you think about solo sex?

I think it's great, you get to have sex even if your alone I give it 2 thumbs...er uh palms up.

Question: Your biggest mistake or shameful moment in bed?

I was in an on again off again relationship with a woman for years, she didn't love me. But during sex I told her I loved her. Not shameful, but definitely a mistake.

Question: Is there anything else you would like to say to the readers of this interview? Now is your chance...

yes, I would, HUMP YOUR BRAINS OUT AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to check out 58's stories, you can find them here.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this interview and comments are welcome. So the more feedback, the bigger the chance that there will be another interview! If you have any questions you would like me to ask our next victim, let me know and I will fire them at him or her! Also, if you have an author you would like to see interviewed, I am always welcoming suggestions!
