The intriguingly named Hot Rider has been publishing on eroticstories.com since December 2007, since when she has posted twenty-two stories - although none for a while. So let's begin by asking, can we expect to see some new stories from you soon?

I have been wanting to write more about my adventures, but serious illnesses in my family have prevented my having time to write. After school lets out, I hope to have more free time.

Q. Who is Hot Rider - is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?

I am a grandmother who did not discover my sexual freedom until I had grown children. My sex life with my husband was good, but very vanilla. A few years after he died, I met David. David has opened up a whole new world of sexual wonder for me. We truly love one another and plan to spend the rest of our lives together.

Q. And does Jennifer really exist? (I think I'm in love...)

Yes, Jennifer is a real person. She has been my best friend for many years. As I have related in some of my stories, she was married to Ted and was living a fairly conventional life. After Ted left her, she was devastated. We spent many hours talking and crying together. I am glad to say that she has recovered from the loss of her marriage. She now has a wonderful man in her life. He has become friends with David and myself, but he is not aware of our sexual escapades.

Q. How and when did you begin writing erotic stories?

I wrote my first erotic story as a Valentine's present to David. I had written a few articles before that were published in professional journals. David has encouraged me to keep writing.

Q. Have you published anywhere other than ES.com?

I have published a couple of stories on another site, but was not happy with it. I will probably remain with ES. I love it here. The fan mail is great. I really enjoy hearing from my readers.

Q. How much of yourself do you include in your stories?

So far, all of my stories have been my own personal true experiences. I try to tell them as accurately as my memory allows. David sometimes helps with remembering the details.

Q. What is it about writing erotica that you most enjoy?

I enjoy turning other people on. It is a real boost to know that a grandmother, such as myself, can still get men hard and throbbing for me. I also like to hear from my female readers. When I dance or expose myself, I really love it if I see other couples getting turned on by watching me. When I can get other couples to dance erotically and tune in to one another's needs and fantasies, it makes me happy. I am sure there have been many times people have been turned on watching me and then gotten a little wild themselves. Once, as I was leaving a club, I saw a couple that had been watching me dance. They were in the shadows of the parking lot fucking like rabbits. I hope I had something to do with that. I have enjoyed sex with a few select women, but I really like to hear a woman's opinion of my stories. Feedback from women is entirely different than that from men. I really enjoy hearing from both sexes.

Q. A lot of your stories appear in the Threesomes and Exhibitionism categories. What is it about these sections that appeals?

After I met David, I discovered that I am really an exhibitionist. As I said, I really enjoy turning people on. I also sometimes enjoy more than one hard cock in me at the same time. David is confident enough in our love to let me enjoy this. He knows that I will always belong to him. I am very lucky to have a man who loves me, and is willing to lend my body to others for their fun and my own pleasure.

Q. Is there anything that happens in your stories that you would really like to try in "real life", but haven't yet been able to?

Since all of my stories have been true life experiences, that does not apply. But, there are a few things I have not tried yet that I think I would enjoy.

Q. Does your partner or any of your friends know that you write? What do they think?

David and Jennifer both know about "Hot Rider." They are very supportive and participate in many of my escapades. They are the only ones who know my true identity. David and I both have very sensitive high profile careers. We must be careful.

Q. How about in more general terms - how do you feel about the "outside world"'s perception of erotic writing?

I think most of the people in the outside world would really enjoy the sexual freedom I embrace. They are just not confident enough to try it. Sadly, many people are too ready to judge and criticize others. Before I met David, sex was something I enjoyed behind closed doors. I would never have believed that I could be this free and happy. For a woman to be this sexually liberated and then write about it is something that I am afraid most people would be afraid to experience. I believe that many of my readers are living a "wilder" life through me. Maybe they would want to live this free but are afraid to try it.

Q. One thing that I love about ES is that you very quickly build up a community of fans, who enjoy writing to and hearing from their favorite authors. Do you have any favorite topics that have surfaced in these "conversations"?

Many of the people who write to me like my stories and many comment on my pics. I try to change my pic every week or so. Many of them want to write to me directly. I promised David that I would never reveal any information that would allow us to be found. As I said, our careers would suffer if my life as an erotic author became known.

Q. How do you feel when you receive negative comments or very low votes from readers?

I really appreciate people taking the time to write and/or vote. If someone did not like one of my stories, they should give me a negative vote. However, I would appreciate it if they would also write to me and explain why they gave me a negative comment or vote. I do not consider an anonymous negative comment or vote as being constructive at all. I cannot improve my writing if I do not know why some people did not like my stories.

Q. And do you read, and respond to, other writers on the site? Who are your favorites?

I have read and responded to several other writers. I have developed a friendship with Joystick. I am trying to encourage her to write more stories. She has told me about several of her own experiences that would make great material for ES.

Q. I love your profile photograph. Please tell us more about it.

All of my profile pics are of me. I try to change it every week or so. I usually get a lot of emails about each one I post. David is my photographer. We have taken thousands of pics and enjoy sharing them. I hate to hide my face, but once again, we must be careful.

Q. Do you remember the first pornography you ever saw?

I saw my first porno in college. It did not do much for me at the time. I was very shy and modest then.

Q. What's the kinkiest thing you have ever done?

Wow! The kinkiest thing I have ever done? I have done so many things. Probably one of the times I have had sex in public. One of the hottest and scariest was giving David a blowjob behind his truck while his parents were sitting next to the campfire about 30 feet away.

Q. Do you have any fantasies that you would like to fulfill?

A favorite fantasy I have is to make love under a waterfall. That is definitely on my "to do list."

Q. What is a major turn on for you during sex?

A major turnon for me is hearing the moans of pleasure as I please my lover. I also like to watch their face as they cum.

Q. How about a major turn off?

A major turnoff is a man getting too rough or abusive during sex. There is a big difference between sex play and being abusive.

Q. How do you feel about same sex relationships, both personally and as a writer?

I believe same sex activities are good as long as both people are enjoying it. I have enjoyed sex with a few select women. I will probably do so again in the future. I think anything that is agreeable to both people is okay.

Q. Do you explore these feelings, positive and negative in your stories?

I try my best to express feelings in all of my stories. I hope I have been successful.

Q. How long does it take for you to write a story? Could you talk us through the process?

I don't know about talking you through the process. My stories are true, so I try to write them as I remember them. David, and sometimes Jennifer, will read my stories before I publish them. They may make suggestions: "oh, don't forget..." or "remember this?" When I start to write a story, it is hard for me to quit. I usually keep going until it is finished. Sometimes, this is 2 or 3 in the morning.

Q. Right now, your most popular story is "The First Time." Do you agree that this is your best story? And why do you think it struck such a chord?

"The First Time" is the story of how I gave my virginity to Chris. He also later became my husband. Maybe it struck a cord because it was really such a wonderful experience. It was so romantic. Maybe many people wish their first time had been so perfect. Many women have written to me and expressed this feeling.
