Mountain High

My partner and I had gone skinny-dipping. It was a regular Friday night event after our game of squash. There was a quite little spot on the river a few miles out of town where we could enjoy ourselves.

I have always enjoyed swimming in the nude. Ever since I was a kid it has been a favourite pastime of mine. Where I lived, there was an ideal set up for the local boys to indulge.

I lived in a glen and where the range forked, a rivulet ran from a spring high up in the junction of the mountains and cascaded its way down to our little community on the plain. It flowed through dense rain forest that provided a tropical haven for our games.

The stream kangaroo hopped its way down the mountain in small drops, each a small waterfall with a rock pool at the bottom, no more than a metre deep. The pools were a wonderful escape from the heat and we had the time of our lives swimming naked in the crystal water. The only drawback if any was the odd eel we had to keep a lookout for. We didn't want any of them latching on to our private parts.

We got up to all the boyhood pranks, not just splashing and wrestling ...
