It was late on a Friday night and I had just gotten home from work, tired and cranky as usual. Those people just have a way of getting on my last nerve, but it's over for another week now and I can relax for the weekend. My sisters had gone to visit my family in Virginia so I had the whole house to myself until Sunday night. I go to the computer and log on, delighted to have a message from my online lover waiting for me. I know quite a bit about him even though we had never met. His name is Mark. The downside to the whole situation is that he lived several hours away from me. We had talked about meeting several times but nothing had ever come of it. I clicked the box to read my message and just about fell out of my chair. It read: "I'm coming to see you. I'm leaving now and should be there around the time you get off work. I'll call you when I get in town! Can't wait to feel your body pressed to mine...." I didn't know exactly what to do. I just sat there and stared at the screen in disbelief. Wondering if he was joking and would log on any second. I don't know how long I sat there staring. Probably just minutes which felt like hours but then my cell phone rang.
