Mike drove through the rain to meet Virginia the next morning. It doesn't happen very often, but the weatherman was promising a full day of wet weather. As he drove, Mike was trying to plan their day. There wasn't many indoor activities that he could think of. Maybe Virginia could suggest something.

When he arrived at Virginia's hotel, he stopped in one of the shops and bought her a rose. He knocked on her door and was surprised to find her still in her robe. She greeted him with a kiss and was very happy to accept the rose.

Mike asked her if she had any ideas of what they might do on this rainy day. She smiled and said that she had an idea or two. First she wanted to talk to him about the previous night. Mike was apprehensive. He really cared for this lady and was scared that she had second thoughts about their relationship.

Virginia told him that she had a great deal of trouble falling asleep. She couldn't stop thinking about what they had done last night. She said that she had never experienced such pleasure and excitement before, but her Catholic upbringing was putting guilt feelings into her head.
