The Wedding Present - Part II, The Judgement

As you can imagine I found it hard to concentrate at work that day, wondering what my husband was thinking now he had found the trunk and, most likely, my confession. Part of me still hoped that by some chance he had not opened that particular journal -- or maybe dismissed my suggestion entirely and gone to work rather than taking the day off to examine the contents of the trunk.
