About ten years ago, it was a Thursday afternoon and I got called into the boss's office. She told me that she had good and bad news. The bad news was that starting that Monday I had to give a training seminar in another state. The person scheduled to give the training had just given his two weeks notice and was sent home.

The good news was that I was being flown first class and leaving the next day so I could relax and enjoy myself. Like that was possible with nothing prepared.
