A change in tense

I found myself slowly awaking for my slumber, not fully aware of where I was. As I began to focus, i could hear a shower running in the background, my hand reached across the bed to find a still warm space where she once lay next to me. Also found a damp patch as well...

Wanting my morning shower, and other necessary functions of the morning, I slid out of her bed and made my way to the sound of running water. Her master bath was elegant and feminine as was all of her home. I could see her in the shower washing her body and rinsing off.

I paused for a moment, and observed, unseen. The view was unobstructed as her glass was clear and I could watch her touching herself and rinsing, which caused an almost immediate reaction, which would have been visible to anyone in attendance. but we were alone...

I called out to her, " Do you mind if I watch you ?"

"Oh! , you gave me a start.." " You can join me if you like.."

"I'd like that, but watching has it's rewards too.", I replied with an evil grin.

I came closer and joined her in the oversized shower stall. We kissed ...
