I had not seen Lauren and Tracy for over a month, not since we spent Ladies' Night together at the Spartacus Club. For the first couple of weeks, I did try to call them. Several times. But all I ever got was their answering machines, and they never returned any of my calls. So I was a little surprised (delighted, of course, but still surprised) when Lauren called me. She told me to come and spend a week with them. Now, they were meeting my late evening flight at the airport. As I left the plane and started to walk down concourse A, I was as excited as a school boy going out on his first date.
