She could kick herself sometimes. When he is around she becomes so nervous that even simple things suddenly become obstacles. She is usually so in control of her emotions but all of that vanishes when he is near. Oh how she wishes she could just come out and tell him how she feels. But she cannot seem to talk let alone think straight when she looks into his eyes.

Night after night she lies in bed thinking of him. Tonight being one of those nights, she could hear him moving around next door. She decides to go to him and tell him how she feels. She taps on his door, hearing his approaching footsteps she begins to panic. When the door opens he smiles and invites her in. Entering his house for the first time she is so nervous that she feels butterflies in her stomach. He invites her to sit and asks her if she would like something to drink, she asks him if he has any wine thinking it may give her some courage. He brings her a drink and she thanks him. Noticing his guitar she asks him how long he has been playing trying desperately to find a way to tell him why she is there. He tells her that he has been playing since he was a kid. She admits to him that when he is playing his guitar she opens her window so she can hear him better. Does she detect a blush? He thanks her and quickly looks away. Suddenly she realizes that he is just as nervous. This gives her a little more courage, moving closer to him she tells him that she cannot sleep knowing that he is all alone next door. ...
