High School Reunion

It had been ten years since I last stepped foot in my old high school. When I left town right after graduation I never thought id be back ten years later as a totally different person. In high school I had been short and chubby and wore glasses. Needless to say I was not one of the popular kids. I did have a small group of friends that accepted me for who I was and didn't care what I looked like. After graduation I went away for college and it wasn't long after that my parents moved out of my hometown. In college my life changed forever, I lost weight, got contacts, and started dressing more in style.

I was finally one of the popular kids. Now here I was standing in front of my old high school feeling like that same frumpy chubby girl I used to be. I was standing outside waiting for my date to park the car. He arrived at my side and asked if I was ready to go in. "Um no not really I'm not" I replied "oh come on youre ur being silly, look at you; your gorgeous." He was right I did look good, I was wearing a short black skirt with a purple low cut blouse that showed just enough cleavage to get attention. My long red hair was flowing around my shoulders. I took a deep breath "ok I'm ready, lets get this over with".
