Joddie's trip to the Big Easy

My name is Joddie and I have written a couple of true stories and sent them in. Those were about my trips to spring break in Panama City, Florida. This story is about my trip to New Orleans and it is also true. None of my stories are just "stories", they happen to be honest to goodness true.

I had never been to New Orleans and I had heard so much about how wild the place was, so I wanted to go and see for myself. I wouldn't dare go without my friend, Bill, he makes me comfortable and allows me to feel free. Of course, Bill puts me in situations that some people would say aren't too comfortable.

Bill had been to New Orleans several times before, and he wanted me to see the action first hand. This trip took place a few years ago and Bill found a deal at the Best Western on Bourbon. It was $99.00 a night during the summer on weekends and this was a balcony on Bourbon Street. Those deals have long since disappeared. We booked a Friday night and a Saturday night and asked for a second floor balcony. They don't guarantee the floor you are on, so it is luck if you get the second floor, but we did!
