Last year, I was a freshman at the University of Toronto. I am in pre med, and it is an awful lot of work. I felt I really needed a break, so my cousin, Tish, and I decided to head to Cuba for March Break. When my roomie Sara heard about the trip, she decided to tag along as well.

We arrived in Varedero and were in awe of the weather, 31 celsius, sunshine and salt air... what more could you ask for? We drove to our resort and checked in to our room, and hit the beach about 15 minutes later. Bliss! We lay around the beach until cocktail hour, then hit the pool bar for some rum punches before heading back to our room for a shower. We headed for dinner and decided to head over to the disco for the evening.

The disco was packed and hot and LOUD. WE drank a few more rum punches and started dancing together the way girls do in clubs. The music was intoxicating and we couldn't seem to sit down, stopping only long enough to refill our rum punches.

After a while, I felt a hand on the small of my back. I turned slightly, to find an amazingly gorgeous Latin guy smiling at me. He started to dance with me, kind of swaying to the music as he stayed behind me. He was a very good dancer and made me look good on the floor as well. WE danced together like this for a while and I was really enjoying myself. He hadn't spoken to me, or introduced himself, ...
