The Governess

As usual Ruby's parents were away globetrotting and left her in the care of a new governess chosen for the summer of her 18th year she was to marry before her 21st birthday as was tradition. Ruby was very rebellious and resisted all the rules she had to obey. She would sneak out of the house and party with her girlfriends, she was caught smoking cigarettes drinking ale at the docks dressed as a boy just to name a few of her mischievous acts. To say the least her parents were at their wits end. To punish Ruby for her latest escapade she was left behind in the care of Ms. Smith, a Governess for the whole summer while her parents vacationed in Europe. Of coarse in all of Ruby's naïveté she thought she was going to have the summer of her life.

On the eve of Ruby's parent's departure she was introduced to Ms. Smith, she was tall, like an Amazon, her body lean and muscular under her dress and apron. Her deep red hair was wound in a tight bun and piled high on the very center of her head. Her dark green eyes sparkled as Ruby's parents rambled on telling her that she is to obey Ms. Smith's every order, and that Ms. Smith had their full authority to punish Ruby for any misbehavior as she saw fit.
