INTRODUCTION from "The Collector"

For a long time, I told myself that I would write a story that focused on a woman's emotions. Doing this proved to be more difficult than I had imagined. I am not a woman myself. I do not normally think as I imagine most women do, especially with regard to sexual issues. So to make the task of conveying a woman's emotions easier, I decided to implement an old tactic: The first person narrative from the male perspective. I have attempted to use this with a little bit of the third person perspective in what I hope makes the story better overall.
