In this story: A very unique vantage point on my favorite thing to see...

After an evening photo shoot with a "wannabe" model, I was worn out and tired. The shoot was good, but it had taken a long time to get everything we wanted.

I decided to go get some air - and thought what better place then up on the roof. The weather has sucked so bad that I hadn't been up there in awhile. I took my binoculars along in case there were any ships in the water that I could see. Plus, you never know what else might else might be in view - not that I had ever seen anything all that interesting.

Once up on the roof, I immediately felt better. The fresh, cool air brought me out of my work-induced daze. Some stars were visible. But what really caught my attention was the light in a certain apartment.

Not "across the street", but across the street and one set of buildings in the distance further there is an interesting apartment. It is high up and even with my rooftop. I can see right into the apartment, but do not have a vantage point from above, which means I am parallel with the apartment. This is unfortunate, since if I was higher up the view would be spectacular.

Because of the privacy, the main girl who lives there never closes her ...
