Art was disappointed and tired. He started the day in the usual way. At 6 AM, he was up and running to get his buddies for their usual Saturday morning golf date. But instead of coming home at his usual 3 or 4 in the afternoon, he was coming back at 11:30 in the morning. His buddy Michael came down with some kind of virus and they could only play eight holes before Joe drove him home.

"Now what am I going to do for the rest of the day," he grumbled to himself as he drove home. "Veronica will make me do some lousy job around the house that I really don't want to do. This sucks. It's too bad that I couldn't get anyone to go out this afternoon instead of going home."

He drove up the driveway, opened up the garage, and drove in. He opened up the car door and quickly noticed the heavy backbeat of music. Thinking it was some teenager driving past the house, he paid little attention as he closed the car and garage doors. He walked up the stairs and opened the door to the kitchen. A wave of music pushed him back a second as he entered.

"What the hell is going on?" he said to himself.

Barracuda was playing in the stereo as he started to look for his wife.

"Veronica!" he yelled. There was no answer. ...
