I work at a riding school taking care of all the horses, I have been here about 3 months so I'm still getting used to new people coming here, every day I take my own horse (which I keep here at the stables) out for his exercise, trotting through all the narrow lanes that run nearby. Today I arrive at the stables and feed all the horses then start to groom the two horses that were needed, ready for when their owners arrive to take them out, when I'm finished I decide to take Duke ( my own horse) out for a while, Duke is a grey stallion 18 hands high, and very quiet and loves to be centre of attention, I place his reins on him making sure they are not to tight, because the weather is so hot I decide not to saddle him which I do quite a lot in hot weather, me and Duke are used to riding bareback, I climb upon his back and head out the gate, his soft mane is long and silky blowing in the wind as we ride, trotting past a field I catch a glimpse of someone in the field driving the tractor, I couldn't help but stare he had thick black hair, medium build and looked very attractive, as I turned the corner he went out of site, I pulled back on the reins bringing the horse to a sudden stop, I steered him round and returned to the opening in the field, I sat on Duke and watched the new attraction for a while, then he saw me, he was watching me as I watched him, he stopped the tractor and waved for me to go to him, I wasn't sure what I should do but before I knew it I was heading across the field.
