(The story so far: Jim and Jane, after a high school love affair, separated for a couple years, Jim staying in Minnesota and Jane continuing dance and going to college in NYC. During that time, Jim fell in love with Vic, Jane's mother, who had a crush on him from the beginning. Jane, who had discovered her own beauty while they were a high school couple, had returned to her self-conscious awkwardness while leading a destructive life in NYC. Jane's mother sent Jim to NYC, after Dr. Kristen Anderson, Jane's gynecologist and health therapist, trained him to massage Jane back to health. In NYC Jim accidentally on purpose bumped into Jane. They had sex, during which time Jim saved her from her abusive ex-boyfriend. They exchanged roommates. Jim became Connie's lover and Jane became Harry's lover, devirginizing him in the process. Jim massaged Jane back to health. Her beauty returned. When Vic came to visit her daughter and Jim in NYC, Connie, jealous of Jim's relationship with Vic, and wanting him for herself to the point of getting herself pregnant with his baby, brought Jane to her mother's hotel room to discover Jane's mother and ex-boyfriend were making love.
