Everyone has those moments at least once in his or her lifetime, you know, the ones that change your entire perspective and outlook on life. Mine came yesterday when I broke into a stranger's house to steal back some incriminating papers for a mysterious client who had called and e-mailed me, but had yet to reveal him or her-self. He or She had the same papers stolen from them and needed to get them back for whatever reason. As a Private Investigator I have seen and done some things that I would prefer to forget, but occasionally I get to see things so memorable that I hope to always remember them.

So after accepting the job as well as a sizeable down payment, all without actually meeting my client, I drove by the address that the client assured me no one was home at. At the end of the block I turned around in an empty driveway and then drove right up into the driveway of the given address as if I was expected to do so.
