THE PUBLISHER

I look around the plush surrounds of my office and, there was no doubt about it, I had done well for myself. I had always wanted to be in publishing for as long as I could remember. I simply loved books from a very young age. I learned early on that there was nothing that one couldn't find in a book. No matter what one's interest, what one's desire there would be a book.

Books really were, are, the love of my life. But don't get me wrong, they are not, by any means, the love of my life. In fact the love of my life is sex. And I have books to thank for opening that door for me. From the age of twelve when I discovered the first "dirty" bit in some long since forgotten novel found on a book-shelf at home I was hooked. I became a devotee of not just books, but a voracious devourer of that which was both written and sexual. Call it what you will, erotica or pornography, as long as it thrilled and stimulated I loved to read it. And the endless variety of it - to be exposed not only to one's own fantasies but those of others, others who wrote of things that I had not even dreamt of!

So when I decided to go into publishing it had to be not just books but erotica, or pornography. What's in a word a name anyway huh? I mean a rose by any other name is still just something beautiful with a prick!
