THE LAW OFFICE - PART ONE

I sat at my desk pondering over the Smith file. It would just not come together. Perhaps another cup of coffee was called for? One of the problems of being a lawyer that I found was drinking too much coffee. Part of the reason was just that sometimes you needed a break and getting up from your desk to get a coffee was a good excuse. Thank God I didn't smoke! Just then my intercom sounded.

"Okay, I'll be right there," I replied hanging up the phone.

As I left my office and headed off down the hallway towards accounts I thought about Cheri. Andrew and I had often agreed about what a flirt she seemed to be.
