It had been a real long day at work. Nothing seemed to go the way it was planned and everytime I thought I'd get to my list of things to do, the phone would ring again with a new problem or someone would need an immediate meeting with me to resolve some issue. I stayed two hours late and still didn't get to most of my tasks, but I knew that Carolyn had made dinner plans for us, and I shouldn't be late meeting her at the restaurant.

It was one of my favorite steak places, the atmosphere was good, quiet enough to have a good conversation, but relaxed enough that you didn't feel bad when you laughed outloud.

I arrived a few minutes before our reservation at 7pm, Carolyn was already there having been dropped off by one of her co-workers on their way home. She was sitting in the bar having a glass of wine and talking to the bar tender. She was dressed in a nice dress, cut just above her knees. It showed-off her legs (and at 6-foot tall she had long legs). The top of the dress was right up to her neck, so there was no revealing her cleavage, which was fine, I figured that was only for my eyes anyway!!
