The summer sun was setting behind the distant mountains as she pulled the truck into the parking area. She couldn't help the little grin that crossed her lips as she parked. Her heart was racing. She would soon be with him again. She glanced in the mirror, and hesitated a moment, fluffing her hair a bit, before grabbing her overnight case and purse. Tonight would be another visit to heaven, followed by a short trip to visit Morpheus, only to wake in her Master's arms.

Her emerald eyes were shining as she carefully locked the truck. She shouldered the overnight case, before turning and making her way up the steps. The summer air had just a hint of rain. It was monsoon season, and intense thunderstorms were the normal this time of year. She glanced towards the mountain, noting the thunder clouds were present, but distant. "Oh, well. New Mexico could always use a bit of rain." She thought to herself as she made her way down the walk and towards the steps that would lead her to him.

In just moments she was standing before his door. She took a deep breath, still unused to being in such a storybook relationship.
