Servicing a Lonely Mother

As a heating and air conditioning technician I have meet a lot of different people and seen a lot different things. Meeting people in their homes where they are comfortable and their guards are down can be very interesting. This story is of a lonely single mother named Carol. I had first met her three years before when her air conditioning broke down on the hottest day of the summer. Since then I was the only tech allowed out to her house. Many times I had gone out to the house and she had left a key under the mat. I would have free access to the whole house. I usually don't go looking around a person house unless there is a need such as a room not heating or cooling. I had been around her house a couple times and knew it fairly well.
